  • This is my first flight vlog in the cessna 172, this video is for practice to find better ways to vlog my flying experience. This flight was from arizona to sacramento which totaled around 5 hours.

Did you ever want to be a pilot or were you just getting your PPL? Also, I currently earn 6k a month in a fully-remote marketing job. I'm considering trucking with melton but what is the a Melton salary like? I just don't want to switch careers if the difference is only an extra 1k a month.

Love this comment, I love melton a lot but I would 100% keep the fully remote job because I’d be lucky to see 6k this month. I’m working at melton to save enough money to finish flight school to become a flight instructor. How do you like your remote marketing job?

@@michaelthomas7408 Thank you for your insight. That sounds like a good plan. I like my marketing job and love the people I work with at the moment. I'm not in a rush to make a career switch, but I'm 26 years old and unsure if I'd like to stay in this field. I'd have to manage people to earn more money in this field. I've project managed before and have experience managing others, and although I'm good at it, I prefer not to manage others and just be responsible for my work. So, I'm searching for a career that allows me to earn well without managing others. Having a hard time as I'm not interested in law and don't have the stomach for medicine.

@@michaelthomas7408 Hey Michael, I'm not sure why I didn't see this reply in my notifications. Thank you for answering my questions; you provided a lot of clarity. I love my remote marketing job. It's the perfect job for me to have at this time in my life, and I'm so blessed. I was just thinking ahead because I'm not sure I want to be a marketing manager or lead a marketing team, which would be my next career step in this field in a few years. Also, many highly experienced marketing professionals go months without a job because marketing is the job everyone thinks they can do. It's just a field that people like to shit on and where cuts happen first. It's incredibly important for me to have a stable recession-proof career that keeps the funds coming. I've considered flight school, but I can't help but think air travel is sold safer than it really is to the public. I'm also weary of the pay cut I'd have to take just to build the 1500 flight hours, lol. I'm 26 now, and I'm giving myself another year to think this through. I need to make the right decision because I only have one career change left in me.
