Following the Instruction Manual on starting, to the letter (page 13), the engine on my brand new BG 50 kicked back, yanking me completely off balance and head first onto my concrete garage floor with bleeding injury to my covered head and my gloved left hand. Stihl dealer now has the blower in his shop for service. The BG 65 I had for over 20 years never did this.
