La Llorona (Latin American Spanish: 'The Crying Woman') is a vengeful ghost in Mexican folklore. In the story, she is said to roam near bodies of water mourning her children whom she drowned in a jealous rage after discovering her husband was unfaithful to her. Whoever hears her crying either suffers misfortune or death and their life becomes unsuccessful in every field.
La Llorona was in the Disney movie Coco and films include the Warner Brothers horror movie ‘The Curse of Llarona’
Singfest is an annual A Capella festival in Surrey with singing workshops, on the Friday to Sunday of the last weekend in August
Singfest 2024 took place at Bentley Copse near Guildford, offering optional camping and dormitory accommodation, with a Kidsfest of activities for the children of participating singers
