Que beleza é escuta-los❤❤
I have fond memories of singing this in my high school choir
Aaa same
Me too!
Let's all get together!
Same lmao
Bruh I’m doing it right now and I’m singing sorprano
I’m 42 years old and our music teacher had us perform this song in Germany. I still remember this song and it still gives me chills! ❤
Sadly, there’s little chance that this song would be taught in American schools these days because it would be damned as “woke” and an attempt to displace white culture. It’s really sad because when I was in grade school in the 60’s we were exposed to music and culture from all over the world. We embraced diversity. We celebrated it. Today, “diversity” is a bad word in American politics. Meanwhile, the world moves on, understanding that diversity is a strength. At least I can enjoy this beautiful music from afar!
@@kumaguy6115 im american and its taught in my class !! we're performing in march
@ What? You’re performing this song in an American high school?
@ middle school!! we do african songs every year
If you ever need to know what pure joy means, watch and listen to this spiritual masterpiece.
This song randomly popped in my head! I remember singing this in elementary chorus. I am 35 and my kids thought I was crazy blurting it out😂. I had to find it and let them listen!
I bet they loved it! ❤
Dankeschön für das Video. Ich wünsche allen frohe Weihnachten.
Maybe everything will be ok for us after all... whenever I see such a wide variety of age, racial heritage, gender, big, small, the short and the tall, moving in unison while singing “we are marching in the light of God” and flashing a huge smile that comes from down in the core somewhere, I know that must tug at God’s heartstrings, and possibly help compel Him to have mercy on us, one more time, mercy we don’t deserve.
Amen Amen

Amen!!

Love that the voices of the people of color are literally front and center, with the white voices there to augment the sound.
Halala South Africans,, we are so proud of you 🇿🇦🇿🇦🥳🥳🏆🏆
Is it possible to love totally strangers you just see on TH-cam?? Everytime I see the Angel City Chorale I feel only love for all these beautiful and lovely people. Thank you for sharing all these wonderful pieces with us!

@@suefink1040 You are so welcome, dear Sue
Yes, if your heart is big and not filled with unnecessary things that will get in your way of emotion.
Great energy, and you want to be a part of the experience, even if by listening in to them having a great time. One problem is that the singing ended soon soon.🎵🎶🎵 ( I continue to sing the tune in my head.)🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎶
FANTASTIQUE ENGOUEMENT!

We are marching in the light of God
J'adore le chef de chœur! Il l'a, l'affaire! Quel dynamisme! Et les choristes sont tellement bons! BRAVO! 💕
The song is awesome.....
O Lord pls Help us in Nigeria ....
This is joyous.
We briefly had an African minister at the church I grew up in (he returned home in short order once his wife had experienced the temperatures of northern England) - he taught us this song one Sunday morning. Not sure our performance would measure up to his effort though! However 30 years later I still remember it so he must have made an impression.
Angel City Chorale, you have my heart❤
Mr. Muyomba....always an inspiration to me in music.
angel city chorale got me learning super cool African languages. so happy
The director looks so passionate. I love it!!!
I feel chilly listening to this
Now that's singing with HEART totally inspirational.
Peace On Earth. God Bless.

I really don't know what to say this is outstanding... what stood out for me it's a willingness to learn the hard word of Zulu language. Exceptional

Thanks for sharing the concerts ❤
Seeing and listening to this choir makes me feel that we are all a beautiful and immense rainbow marching in the light of God! Thank you so much!!! ❤️❤️❤️
allah 🕋🕋🕋🕋🕋
When my favorite cousin died we sang this as the recessional hymn at his funeral.
Until we meet again, Sturgis.
Lamento tu pérdida 😞😞😘😘
We are singing this at our Church tomorrow. It won't be nearly as amazing as this, but it will be an offering to God just the same.
Reminds me so much of the great music from "Graceland" with Paul Simon, Lady Smith Black Mambazo, Miriam Makeba, Hugh Masakela....
Wow! Gorgeous.
Yes, it is the same cultural and harmonic tradition!
Great to see all races sing together. This is the SA that we should uphold!! One SA undivided by colour, race, status, age, gender, religion just one integral SA!!
BLM
I remember singing this as one of the BASS group in a school choir group (glee club)
Nobody can bury you all you are children of God He is alive sprite in you so carrying on keeping the sprite live with a beautiful grace of AloHim❤
found this song after 15 years... sang this in my 4th grade music class and its still stuck in my head to this day
Merci Violaine!
Merci!
Wonderful interpretation of this song. One of the very best versions I have heard.
Agreed.

¡¡MARAVILLOSO!! ¡¡GRACIAS!!
WOW! This video ended way too soon...I wanted to see and hear more! The conductor was wonderful to watch, equally as animated as this wonderful choir. Thanks for posting this enjoyable video...much appreciated!!

Absolut großartig 👍
Brings back memories of early 90s in grade school when we sang this in music/choir class. Always loved how this song sounded, so upbeat & positive!
Top notch! You all sound so very great together.
When I read the economic issues of SA, this beautiful music reminds me what an incredible diverse an wonderful country it really is, peace and harmony xx
Fiz parte do Coral Canto das Águas São Lourenço MG. Esse canto fez parte do nosso repertorio
It is hard to find a composition that is so full of the joy of singing and the spirit of love for all people. What a challenge for this stodgy Episcopalian to give it the music it deserves!
We sing it in my Episcopal church! But we don't have the drumming to give it that extra oomph...!
So beautiful. Music knows no boundaries
Achei !
10 anos cantando ela sem saber a versão original
🇧🇷
Swahili language version of a religious song that has its origins in the roman empire, sung by a multicultural choir and soloists, with an orchestra, an asian conductor, african rhythm and dress.
Seems us humans can keep adapting and bringing out the best in each other. In spite of wars and self destruction.
Merci Vianney, merveilleuse interprétation!
Meu Deus do céu!
Que sincronia perfeita.
Incrível?

Siyahamba ekukanyen' kwenkos=we are marching in the light of god
As always you folks are amazing . Can't listen to you enough . Please keep the videos coming ! God bless you all
I’ve sung this song when I was elementary school student. I am happy to listen the song again!
Bilion likes here, for the better world!
So absolutely uplifting. Sensational!
I'm about to do this for our december HS chour concert! So excited! Fun being an alto for once.
