I LOVE Home Free. I love Pentatonix. I love quite a few other amazing acapella groups. But if you're looking for classic, gorgeous, stunning vocals with incredible arrangements, you can stop looking. It's Voctave.
Let's not forget who and what they are singing about....He is what inspired Michael W. Smith to write such a divine song. This is my all time favorite Christmas song and Voctave you performed it beautifully, thank-you.
That whole group is AMAZING. They blend so freaking well. Also shout out to the altos, tenors, and basses who are supporting the song incredibly and creating a magical backup. They usually don't get enough credit!
i just found this group about 20 minutes ago. I'm already in love with them. Truly amazing singing and compositions. especially when compared to many of the popular singers
The same happened to me. Last Christmas I listened to Mary Did You Know, after I'd dried my eyes and shared it for the nth time. I was hooked, just can't get enough of Voctave
@@chaplainmattsanders4884 No sir-that was what's called a Common-Tone Modulation. Starting at 1:57, the melody remains on the 5th scale degree in the original key (B in the key of E), and then at 2:02 the key switches to G major, where the same melody note B is now the 3rd. Edit: that being said, I truthfully can't quite pick out what the original commenter is referring to. The ending of the entire piece is just a pretty standard V->I cadence (a really beautiful and satisfying one, but standard nonetheless), so it's not that.
@@ferfymoe2093 I don't see any diminished 2nd there, but if he's talking about the major 2nd (F#), which is the fifth of a V chord, is suspended into the I chord, then resolving downward by step (sung by one of the altos I believe), then yes, it's a classic but beautiful way to end a traditional song like All is Well. (So much ear candy in their version!)
They are perfectly pitched naturally. These Queens and Kings are professionals who have been singing a cappella music live, in sync, and in perfect harmony for many years. Case, point, and the period!
So perfect. Familiar, gentel, controlled, the average person can sing a long, and then mind blowing! What a perfect way to capture your audience. These saints will definitely be part of the choir in heaven! Can't wait for eternity!
I have listened to this song sober, drunk, and high. In my honest opinion, this is by far the absolute best song to day. The melody, rainbows( rise and fall of sound/strength of the sound.) is sung beautiful and beyond perfect. The notes hit by the sapranos were well placed and flawless. ahhhhhhh!!!!
Electro Evolution, in my opinion, there is nothing finer on this planet than smoking a doob, putting on my headphones, closing my eyes and letting Voctave's voices take me wherever it will. Perfection!!
We played this song at our dad's funeral 2 years ago. I was crying after the first few measures and always will. Thank you for your excellence in vocal production. You will always be in my heart. God Bless you all from the bottom of my heart.
I love how with Jamie's arrangements, he always give you a little extra, unexpected color at the end - No simple resolution - first a vocal treat. Well done!
Tiffany's voice makes me cry, every single time. I cannot deal with this amount of talent, you guys are just so incredible. I'm not even a religious person but you never fail to amaze me. Your voices just sound so beautiful together.

The care, control, consideration and respect for the music has rarely been expressed better than this. There are several tear jerking moments of musical bliss. Thank you Voctave.
The one thumbs down must have been a mistake. It seems unbelievable that with so many virtuoso moments during this performance. Would love to know the why behind this on
Here listening to this again in August. Y'all are so spectacular. Tiffany - you're the best and the Spirit that lives in you comes shining through here so brilliantly.
Absolutely stunning vocals. Beautiful, great harmonies, connection amongst the group and perfect lead!. Tiffany killed the solo as did the interior vocals with all the runs and texture they flawlessly bring.
The sound of the harmonies to me is beyond perfection and beauty. My soul continually rejoices every time I listen to this awesome Voctave group. Thank you so much for your LOVE and passion for the art of singing that you freely share with all of humanity. Be blessed in all that you continue to do.

Please include the violin in a very close second for it is the only instrument fully capable of reproducing the human voice.

yes, and also the piccolo, and also the french harp as well.
