      +Aaron Powell She sings with such expression, added to a physically beautiful voice, with .... the only thing I can call it is texture. There is a texture to her sound.... but mostly, she sings with great joy and we feel it. These people can straight up sing.

    Falling OUT of a diminished 2nd INTO a resolved major was a lovely reversal of a traditional suspension ending.

      Wes Arnold . Is that at 2:02?

    • @ferfymoe2093
      @ferfymoe2093 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@chaplainmattsanders4884 No sir-that was what's called a Common-Tone Modulation. Starting at 1:57, the melody remains on the 5th scale degree in the original key (B in the key of E), and then at 2:02 the key switches to G major, where the same melody note B is now the 3rd.
      Edit: that being said, I truthfully can't quite pick out what the original commenter is referring to. The ending of the entire piece is just a pretty standard V->I cadence (a really beautiful and satisfying one, but standard nonetheless), so it's not that.

    • @chengliklik
      @chengliklik หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ferfymoe2093 I don't see any diminished 2nd there, but if he's talking about the major 2nd (F#), which is the fifth of a V chord, is suspended into the I chord, then resolving downward by step (sung by one of the altos I believe), then yes, it's a classic but beautiful way to end a traditional song like All is Well. (So much ear candy in their version!)

When I first heard this, I played it for my eldest son, (40's) and 'Mary Did You Know?' sing by these artists- ... He told me a little while after that he really struggled to not cry while listening to it... Dont get me wrong tho, I totaly agree with the comments saying the 1st sopprano is a complete wonderchild and that she probably should be tried for some sort of witchcraft due to those high notes. I just think we should give these pitchy amazing singers a break from their starlight and fame and give a shoutout to these bloody bass singers. *shouting out really loud* *woke parents* *Grounded with no PC for a week*. Their crescendos & decresendos as well as their connections & cut-offs, just stunning! Gorgeous. You take the abilities of the human voice to a whole new level. The pitch control while adjusting power and volume is outstanding. Tremendous phasing without overacting or voice exaggeration! Superb.

      Andreas Horlacher you don’t think that there is pitch correction applied by the studio.... still great singing but don’t kid yourself that is real.

      @@andyjazzsax you are absolutly wrong. These people have been singing professionally for thirty years and more. They are actually that good.
      I, and many others have heard them live in formal concert settings, in church, and up close, within touching distance as the same folks sing as Voices of Liberty at Disney World.
      Their pitch control and timing approaches the limits of human precision.

    Beautiful! Both soprano singers are also a part of "Voice of Liberty" at the American Pavilion at EPCOT in Walt Disney World. Check out that group if you go there some time. They sing under a dome inside the American Pavilion, and their music is outstanding!

    One of the best Vocal groups ever. Everything they do is just amazing. The skill, the arrangements, the taste, the musicality. Just doesn't get any better then that.
    To the 96 dislikes. Tone deaf and non musical. If you knew anything about music, you could never give them a thumbs down, even if you didn't like what they did. You would appreciate the skill and talent they bring to the table.

      What is really sad is that I lived within 20 minutes from where they are, and did not even know they existed. Now that I am 1500 miles away, and I am a huge fan and would love to see them perform live.

    Pleasant to see and hear Tiffany wailing at the top and not just Kate. Then she gets lead. Amazing. Then, the accomplish ensemble so they make AN instrument. Amazing.

    All is well all is well
    Angels and men rejoice
    For tonight darkness fell
    Into the dawn of love's light
    Sing Ale
    Sing Alleluia
    All is well all is well
    Let there be peace on earth
    Christ's come go and tell
    That He is in the manger
    Sing Ale
    Sing Alleluia
    All is well all is well
    Lift up your voices and sing
    Born is now Emmanuel
    Born is our Lord and Savior
    Sing Alleluia
