Did anyone else get "New Girl" vibes from the first group? Seriously though, awesome guys. They were friendly and positive and supportive and tactful. and brought in a good level of humor. I LOVE that her friend tried on a dress, but obviously didn't do it obnoxiously, actually got help to try it on. And he pulled it off! I hope...💙
She's adorable and she looks beautiful in her dress and I enjoyed her friends! I thought they were all a very fun, caring group of friends, like you said.
The second bride is refreshingly honest. The endless stream of brides who have been dreaming since the day they were born to buy a wedding dress and walk down the aisle gets very tiring. I liked the dress Randy picked for her - it was extremely flattering and pretty.
I was about to comment that i could see an advantage to bringing her male friends, not just for their honesty, but their _objective_ appraisals -- they aren't going to be busy in their heads with jealousy over her ... _"attributes "_ or thinking, _"i want a different one for _*_my_*_ wedding"_ [and having to _gently_ but *firmly* remind them, _"Not _*_your_*_ wedding yet, Sunshine!"]_ or the snide, _"that'd look better on me.",_ Or the distraction of, _"They're all so lovely! _*_I_*_ want to steal thunder from the bride & hold one up to me in the mirror_ [or *worse]* _try one on!"_ And it shifted to the young man in the dressing room! But his trying the dress on didn't _feel_ like thunder-stealing. It felt like a good natured prank on a much loved & treasured friend. Inclusive & bonding & a funny story to share after. It was lovely of the consultant to take part in it! They work on commission & lose money when it becomes just a group of adult women playing dress-up. But this didn't seem to reach that point. It was good to see them having so much fun! Obviously, a _lot_ of love there!
I like both of these brides. Neither of them were the "I spent all my life dreaming about my wedding" type, which is something I can relate to (I always dreamed about my career).
That was my thought too but i bet its because of the two people , beside the groom,, that she brought with her, that she was doing the whole full wedding bit. the mothers!
That's what I did!! A wedding and all the planning was never a dream for me. My Dad suggested eloping when he saw how unenthusiastic I was talking wedding cakes, let alone dresses. Whew.
Dress looked good on the guy friend ^^, fun should be included in the appointment, they were still choosing a dress but having a good time. It's nice to see!
I don’t understand the attitude of the 2nd bride. If you don’t want to wear a wedding dress, than why doesn’t she and her fiancé just go down to the justice of the peace and have a simple civilian ceremony?
I loved the first group -- yea, they were all over the place, but there was a lot of love in that group of friends. The second one was also lovely - the groom's face just lit up when he saw her in that dress. Wishing everyone a very happy married life!
I always loved trying on dresses; wedding gowns and evening gowns and cocktail dresses and jewelry. I’m a girly girl and some aren’t. I’m glad she came around and realized it’s important.
A Million years ago, on one of my first episodes of "Say Yes to the Dress," I saw a beautiful African-American college student who had severely clashing ideas with her Latin-American stepmother- form fitting and revealing v shoulders covered and modest. In the end, she went with form fitting with a beautiful cage veil. I wish I could find that episode here. I fell in love with it.
I know how the second bride feels: let's just get this over..I was SO tired of trying on dresses....my husband of 46 years couldn't tell you what the dress looked like.
I'd just rent my dream dress, anyway. I won't be pulling it out of the box from the attic to show people my dress. I'll be showing them the wedding pictures from my wedding if I do!
Well. The fun, cheerful vibe in that video DEescalated quickly. They should have put them in reverse. Now I'm a bit depressed, whereas after the first group, I felt fun and positive. I hope they both have great weddings, but I'm surprised the second woman is bothering with one.💙
@@isabellindlind I'm not sure they have a choice. We don't pick our vocal chords. But, perhaps she is a smoker, in which case she should have gotten a dress tinted yellow. Then again, it doesn't seem like it will have sentimental value to her at all. 💙
@@DravenGal Of course they have a choice! It's a put-on. And it's become an epidemic among women who thinks it's cute/sexy to talk like they're dragging their chords over a gravel road! If Paris Jackson sang like she talks, she'd never sell a record, lol! They can turn it on & off on a dime.
I saw an episode where I think it was Randy who said if they only bring friends but not a parent, they’re probably just playing dress up and they’re not really there to buy.
Man, the 2 videos rolled into one was like yin & yang Like a *Gemini* switching personalities. First group was fun & quirky; the second was kinda depressing 🤦🏼♂️
It's interesting when someone says they're not into wedding dresses or the spotlight, but choose to go on television to shop for their dress. Like, do they talk them into it?
I really think brides should atleast try on Randy’s bridal dresses especially since he randomly walked up to them and said that his dress was perfect for her. She did say that she wanted someone else to pick out her dress for her wedding yet she didn’t even try on his dress nor tell him what silhouette she was looking for. I mean several times a confused bride walks into a bridal boutique and they think they know what looks best for them but then they realize what they really want is totally different & they have their bridal moment over a wedding dress that is totally different from what they originally had in mind. I hope Randy can help me pick out wedding dresses for my daughters weddings & my sons’ wives. If he doesn’t retire by then, if he is retiring then I will just have to buy from dresses that was designed by him. ❤️🙏😳
There sure was a contrast from the first bride and second bride. Some dream about their wedding - and for some, it never crosses our mind. Just figuring out a cake! Ug!! Let alone a dress. Eloping was my way out!! Woohoo.
i don’t think the second bride was excited because she was more stressed than anything else. if you never shopped for a wedding dress before, kleinfelds is probably a whole new territory compared to smaller shops and boutiques. or there’s a chance she was never the girliest of girls growing up so this is out of her comfort zone to shop for a big event gown like a wedding dress.
When going into Klienfield's, I think you should be serious about buying a wedding dress. Check out the internet, go to a department store first before making an appointment and acting clueless about what you want.
The one thing that the 2 brides did have in common.. is they both chose beautiful wedding dresses! However, I love how positive and fun the first bride and her guy friends were.. and think they’d be a fun group to hang out with! The 2nd bride was depressing.. I felt like she was so negative.. why not just elope if you don’t want to be the center of attention at your own wedding???🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️💯💯💯💯
I’m shocked that Kleinfield’s allowed that man to try on a dress during his friend’s appointment, knowing that he wasn’t going to buy it & would just distract from the bride. Shameful & not cute!
Randy's flamboyant?? I mean, yeah, he steps it up a notch or two but he's a literal bridal gown consultant. Even if we're going for sexual orientation stereotypes, his outfits look normal.
I'm sure Kleinfeld's will be very happy to grant the second woman's wish never to try another bride's dress on. How many others would be so grateful. You'd think she was at the dentist's office!
The first girl must be very special and cool to have friends like that.
This men in a dress didn't like it at all!!!
Not friends. She could do better.
They are childish. Why doesn't she have female friends or family?
I was thinking the same thing!!! Love the energy ❤

I don’t think Sarah saw it that way

Not all women are catty and jealous. Maybe you need better friends.
I like both of these brides. Neither of them were the "I spent all my life dreaming about my wedding" type, which is something I can relate to (I always dreamed about my career).
As a child or even a teenager, I never gave a wedding dress one single thought.
I love the last dress on the 2nd bride! She was exquisite in it!❤️
The second bride should elope. She is not going to enjoy the attention she gets at the wedding.
i agree. i was that way, and i wish we would have done that.
That was my thought too but i bet its because of the two people , beside the groom,, that she brought with her, that she was doing the whole full wedding bit. the mothers!

I thought that at first, I think it was one part nerves and one part "hasn't hit yet," since she lit up and got excited when she found her gown.
That's what I did!! A wedding and all the planning was never a dream for me. My Dad suggested eloping when he saw how unenthusiastic I was talking wedding cakes, let alone dresses. Whew.

Consultant complains because they dont seem serious about anything and then they give guy a wedding dress to try on playing into the nonsense.
Second girl's dress was gorgeous!
I love a good group of theatre kids...
Jed reminds me of Sheldon. he's so unenthusiastic 🤣🤣

great friends and they both looked stunning in the yes to the dress!
What a waste of time for the salon and staff!

2nd bride: Her husband may grow weary of the vocal fry. Why women want to talk like they've been chain smoking all their life is beyond me.

The second bride should just go to the courthouse.

I can’t be the only one that feels like that 2nd group this might’ve been the inspiration for Wes Anderson’s the Royal Tenenbaums

I love the second bride's dress
I thought the male trying on a dress distracted from the brides moment. If a female friend did that everyone would be upset.
Loved the first bride and her friends. The one with the yellow shirt gave such a Ryan Reynolds vibe.😂4:05 This is the dress of my dreams.
Both of those appointments were bizarre.
Second bride, no pearls!!! At least not those pearls. Maybe more delicate pearls.
When will this channel start turning on closed caption???
That first group gave me a headache.
Idk the first one suits her so good

Why is the guy trying on a dress? This world has turned crazy
I feel for Marissa.

dress 2 isn’t as cute as
Okay the appointment just went off the rails…
The final dress she tried on … was nice too
I've seen a lot more intrusive & annoying entourages on this show in the past. These guys were awesome - lighten up SYTTD.
Oh, please, a guy??, trying on a wedding gown>> Just wrong!
The 2nd girl was so old for her age. Both bride & groom had no excitement to them. Boring life ahead.
First comment! Love your vids~
The last one looks like her son not her Fiance.
So far not a strap in sight.
Omg with the bride who would brings guys to bride dress shopping and creepy the guy put a wedding dress just my opinion.

Now they wont let a female friend try on a dress and upstage or steal rhe bride's spotlight but its ok for a man to do it?
Yes.
Second ❤
The second bride is a real downer.
