Thanks, I just completed starter install and saw the CEL. My lower vacuum tube to the solenoid was disconnected. With your video it was an easy fix. Good on you for helping us DIY mechanics.
Thank you very much for your diagnosis. I’m up here in the north east it’s very cold today. I’m waiting for it to get warmer and I’m going to try this to see if that hose is disconnected because I too changed the starter and I possibly could’ve not put that hose on.
nice been searching for a right video for this code.. and this is really straight to the point ganda ng explanation... been reading yung mga pinagawa ng previous owner then i saw he did replace a starter. and yes it was disconnected.. this really saved me a lot of time!!! more power to u kabayan!
Great video and explanation, but I'm afraid it didn't help me as I DID have vacuum on the solenoid. Do you know what the next steps wouldbe in this case? Video is good for no vacuum condition. Thanks for posting!
I'll changed both sensors and vtec selenoid the code p1077 keeps coming back. There are times that can't go passed 3000rpm when driving. Any suggestions. Thanks!
It’s your vtec solenoids, even if you replaced it aftermarket ones go bad quickly. Get an oem one and the problem won’t come back for a really long time
Thank you dear friend for this video, I really appreciate you. I did subscribed also. I have a same problem after I replaced water pump I forgot to connect the vacuum line. May God in Christ Jesus richly bless you n your channel.
@@yavenpersaud6153 unfortunately havent got to it yet but i think it is that the valve is all gunked up with oil so im gonna try to take it apart and clean it. it's been off for a while now though so i dont know if it got better when the weather got a bit warmer here in berlin but if it comes back on again ill take it apart and clean it and check the tubing connected to it, there are other great videos on how to do it if youre handy

Hi, thanks for the video! Would I be able to check If the hose is disconnected or not without going to the mechanic?
