    I appreciate Your instructional approach to Your videos. I'm newly back into the hobby after many years away (decades). I haven't built any armor but I have a couple of armor kits I hope to do in the not too distant future.

      That is awesome Pa, after Covid put me in the retired category, I decided to get back into modeling as well, after nearly 30 years hiatus. I've only had my channel since March 2021, so most everything you see is me learning as I go. I hope you enjoy the videos, and I am trying to be better at making them, and the models too, lol. Take care, stay safe, and feel free to comment about anything. Model on my friend!

    Again, very nice video. Pre-shading scares me, but I need to keep pushing myself.

    • @hillbillymodeling
      @hillbillymodeling  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You should! I was afraid of pre-shading too, but it's easy to fix if you do something that you don't like, and it always seems to come out well no matter what. Take a chance and stretch your skills, you'll be glad you did! Take care. Johnny

    I'm busy building this model and I am struggling to find a place for part A3. Went through the manual and can't find it. If you can assist please.

      Hi Johan, I just went through the instructions 4 times, I keep them just in case there are questions, and I can't find it either! So, I'll assume I didn't use it in the build. I'm so sorry I can't help with this little issue my friend. And, I have to admit I don't even know what it looks like, lol. Sometimes there are parts in these kits that aren't used, but I can't remember on this one, sorry. Good luck on your build, thanks so much for reaching out and for watching the build series, it means a lot. Happy New Year and best of luck for 2024!!! Johnny

      Дмитрий мой друг, спасибо тебе огромное, что смотришь мои видео, я рад, что они тебе нравятся. После сборки «Корсара» я буду собирать российскую машину САМ-6 от Trumpeter, вам тоже может понравиться эта серия. Я не эксперт в моделировании, я просто пытаюсь получить наилучшие результаты с помощью самых простых методов и при этом получить отличную сборку. Удачи в ваших сборках, и если у вас когда-нибудь возникнут вопросы, я всегда рад поделиться тем немногим, что знаю. Берегите себя и будьте примером!! Джонни

    • @hillbillymodeling
      @hillbillymodeling  ปีที่แล้ว

      Tamiya doesn't include that detail in this kit. But, you can purchase a Photoetch set and maybe even a resin upgrade set that has the ball and chain detail. That would be a worthy upgrade for this little kit. Thanks for watching. Johnny

    I Like that 'pre-shade'!!!
    Seriously, that 'pre-shade' ~Might-ve been "covered" up a bit ~~~ mayBe.... at least in the video...BUT, I get the idea.👍
    Thanks for the info on the 'German Gray' primer...I Painted my entire model tank ( German Leopard 2 AVLB ), so Thanks for the tip!!!👍👍👍
    I enjoyed the various colors of small paint jobs, But " I " would have painted those parts separately, instead of gluing onto the model and then paint (for example the machine guns). NICE Steady Hand🖐
    Lastly, the additional decals by finishing ALL the painting, Then applying the 'Gloss Coat' ( I see you use a LOT of 'Tamiya' paints' ). With final touches of "older" 'Testor' paints ( I Also have a VERY Old bottle of silver and it Still shines!! ).
    OVERALL..... I enjoyed this posting, Your narration is 'True' and 'Genuine', and humble when you erred (on the rear entrance door). Posting was Excellent......( I Think ) you have a "New Subscriber".....

      Thank you Sir, I use what I have at hand, as for painting small items on the vehicle, its often a choice between risking having glue marks appear on the surface or a bad paint stroke doing the same thing, lol. There is nothing wrong with painting items separately for sure. Thanks for watching, take care. Johnny
