This time of year new spring grasses are an important addition to a wolves diet. In this video, I’m taking Aqutaq and Iqniq to one of their favorite salad bars.
This is awesome, I love watching you walk with the wolves. I never entertained the idea of getting a wolf or wolf dog because I simply do not have the resources for it, the place I live would be horrible for them, and having that kind of awareness and appreciation is doing them a lot of favors on its own, I think. They need/require things I simply cannot provide, and so, even though I'm interested in wolves and wolf dogs, its best for them that I abstain.
You could always volunteer at a wolf or wolfdog sanctuary. There are plenty of opportunities for people to get amazing experiences while doing something that makes a significant difference. There’s probably a sanctuary somewhere near you. For my money, the most interesting one is Mission Wolf in Colorado and they accept volunteers for as little as two week stretches.

Have you considered planting a "wolf salad bar" at your home ... then allow them to snack there? 🌱
We usually have one but this year were restoring their pond so it hasn't sprouted yet.
But even when we do, the wolves usually dig it up. 😆

In the US, wolves rarely live near human population centers. Typically, when wolves start getting close to people here, someone shoots them. 🙁

@@KardienLupus, I'm not sure what media you see, but aside from Yellowstone and California, wolves are in peril almost everywhere in the US
