I'm almost 42, born in 1980, this was my fave movie as a child and I am watching it tonight again! the disco scene made me wanna find out who sung such an awesome tune and made me wanna wear a rah rah skirt and go partying with crimped hair and lots of lipstick in that very club with the strobe lights, what a vibe!
I'm over 42...I've danced like the cowboy before. That gets the attention of the ladies, I don't mind telling you. No need to discuss the type of attention at this juncture....
Was one of my favorite movies as well. Actually saw it in theaters when I was 6 with a friend. Harry and The Hendersons was out of the theaters, so we saw Innerspace on a Saturday Morning at around 11. I remember it clearly even though it was almost 40 years ago....
Sadly, as a kid born in 1981, this movie scared the crap out of me. Specifically the heart valve scene, which made it all but impossible for me to enjoy the rest of the film, despite there being so much to enjoy. It wouldn't be until I was 14 that I was finally able to exposure therapy myself with that specific scene, and this has since become one of my favorite movies. Its interesting, because while this movie scared 7 year old Me, actual scary movies did not. I could sit through all three Nightmare on Elm Street movies (there were only three at the time, lol) with a straight face and a "meh" shrug.
This was such a fantastic movie. I loved when this song was played in the movie when Lydia(Meg Ryan) and the Cowboy were dancing to it in the club. They sure don't make movies like this anymore.
Still after 30+ years this is still one of my favorite songs of all time. Has anyone noticed how sick the bass feature is right before the purely 80's sax solo?
Oh gosh i think i might cry, i've been haunted by that song when Meg Ryan was dancing with the Cowbow at the club i can't describe the feeling i have right now thanks for the share
Thumbs up if you watched this film in 1987, like me. I was so impressive with the soundtrack by Goldsmith, the visuals by IL&M, the songs, characters, specially Meg Ryan and Wendy Schaal!
one of my all-time faves. It just sucks that it scared the crap out of me as a kid (specifically the heart valve scene), but I was able to break myself out of that in my early teen years, thank goodness.
@@k1productions87 The scene that scared me as a kid was the transformation scene when they started changing faces. Also, Mr Igor was pretty terrifying.
@@GregOrCreg Mr. Igoe didn't bother me too much, I found his mechanical hand fascinating. But yeah, the face changing (especially the latter one) was creepy. Though, as a kid, I never made it that far. So by the time I saw it properly, it didn't bother me as much. That being said, it totally would have, as something else that scared me pretty badly (and shouldn't have) was when Vigo went back into the painting in Ghostbusters 2 and his face scrunched in on itself. It was a very cheap-looking effect, but as a kid... it was more than enough to trigger something. I enjoyed the movie, but I always had to hide around a corner during that moment. Also, the floating blood (despite it being purple) in Star Trek VI hit me pretty badly too, ruining my experience in the theater.
@@k1productions87 The two parts of Ghostbusters 2 that scared me as a kid was the pink goo in the bath that tried to capture Dana. It was like the bath came alive. And when Janosz turned into a ghostly Mary Poppins who used an extended arm to grab Baby Oscar. It's strange because at the end Janosz is a really likeable funny character, but there are parts of the film when he seems borderline evil. When Louis went bad in the first film it was played for laughs but in this one, Janosz was genuinely scary.
muy buena pelicula realmente es genial ademas envejecio muy bien, te agradesco mucho que allas puesto la cancion te dejo muchos saludos desde carlos casares buenos aires argentina
I have tried that before and it says "Adobe Flash Player is needed". I was able to get it when I had access to WIFI. I played the video on the wireless devise and recorded it to my computer using an audio transfer cable.
G Mc If you want to go relatively “old school,” you can get the CD from Amazon and upload it into your computer or whatever from that. Costs a little, but this song is on it!
This song is just awesome, and the moovie is "chef d'œuvre "!!! Everything thing are so good, actors, scénario. Great job for the uploader, we can see every monumentales scenes!!! Thanks !!! A little bit slower than in the moovie on the dance hall, i think they speed the song for the cowboy and Meg dance 😉
there are some heavy drum fills at the end of this song ... awesome ... innerspace was on the other night and the dancing scene is the best "but chu know dat"
This is well edited and well put together.. Well done! But... Isn't there a twist at the end where Jack drives off but unbeknown to him one of the miniaturised villains is in the boot of the car?
It's not even listed on the official soundtrack for the movie. Nor is it on iTunes or band camp under either Jerry Goldsmith or Narada Michael Walden. Totally stumped RN.
cheesy ass 80's songs really do just make you feel good (lol) the song from MANNEQUIN (nothings gonna stop us now) by JEFFERSON STARSHIP I think is another one & TWINS movie had some also & im a 29 year old white heterosexual male who mostly listens to underground hip hop but stuff like this & 80's new wave I like also but I gotta listen to it incognito so I dont get clowned (lol)

Why are these 80s songs so hard to find? So many 80s movies have great music nowhere to be found. Best era ever.
Songs included in Innerspace are amazing, but the score by Jerry Goldsmith IS the mostest! Both (songs and score) are amazing!
There's just something about bouncy feel-good '80s songs that you just don't find now, and this is a prime example! :)
Je viens de revoir le film un vrai kiff! La bonne époque!
You all want to know what sucks about this movie? Nothing...the movie is just awesome.
i agree i love this movie
No sequel..
@@helainaharding2470 that's a good thing as they'd just ruin it, plus Meg Ryan has been at the plastic surgery and she didn't need it
I was born in 2000. We had this on VHS and it’s been my favorite movie all my life. Sucks no one ever knows what I’m talking about when I mention it

Innerspace is a fantastic movie but gets so little love in the 80s nostalgia tripping nowadays. It is incredible.
So I've danced like the cowboy at many a public celebration...that is how you bring back the 80s!
80s are beautiful.
UTubeAngelique I miss the 80's so much!
I was born in the 80’s today is my 35th birthday

Such a fun 80's movie.
Life hasn’t been the same since the 80s. Best decade ever.
Aah, the 80s seemed such a wondrous place.
It had its moments.
Seemed? It was
I was a teen during the 80s and it was wondrous.
It was every bit as good as it looked, I promise you. Feel so lucky to have grown up in the best decade of all time. Genuinely.
Life will never be like the 80s ever again. If you experienced it you’d understand. Best time ever!!!!
Listening in 2018. I remember seeing this in the theater in Torrance, CA in 1987.
Underrated classic no doubt! Reminds me of my child hood
If I get down in the dumps this track lifts me through the roof.
Been looking for years for this song, good 80’s tune, inner space classic.
gotta love youtube, the only place to find such obscure tracks, i've only been after this since i saw Innerspace at the cinema when i was about 10!
Ah, nostalgia. I never expected to find this here. Great upload.
All hail the '80s
The greatest decade!!
DAMN!!! Just wanna dance this song with a young Meg Ryan!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

This movie actually does a great job at capturing the vibe of Silicon Valley in the 80s. And hell, even a touch of it now.
I can't belive this song is not on Spotify.....
Andrea Forcella Man, it’s not just me!!!
Yeah, I've tried to look for this as well.
And it's still not there! 😢
80s music kicks arse man. It will never be beaten 🥳 born in 88 so sadly I didn’t live through the 80’s but I love the music always listen to it 😃
