There is no voice like Streisands. So unique and beautiful. The song she sang in Yentyl to her deceased father gave me chills and made me cry. She conveys so much emotion.

This interview has to be the most honest and comprehensive I've ever seen with Barbra. It covered many areas; musical career, her films and only what she wants you to know about her personal life. She has every right to her privacy! Can't wait to read her book.

She is a GEEK in the best way possible! I don't know if many people really understands how much work goes into making a film or a single song, and she gets involved in every part of the process.

Metoo has destabilized women and men. Too much shit in this movement that makes things worse for women in terms of defending muslim women with their veils will drag all the women in the world back to the past. Accepting this submission of women helps the islamists to keep them inferior and all the rights gained for women during 20th century like abortion will be lost again.

This isn't really an "interview." It's a conversation. Zane isn't Barbara Walters, who simply asks question after question. He is giving his opinions and she is responding to them. Much more interesting way to learn about a person.

In a way, to me, she's basically the same person she's always been in interviews. Talking about the same things, going on about the same things. I would like to hear more about her family, in particular her son. Her one and only child, I would think, would bring her great joy. Though she supports gay rights, I believe at times she's also struggled with her son going in that direction. Can't help but think she would have liked a daughter-in-law, and grandkids from her own flesh and blood, not just through her step son.

Never enjoyed Barbara Wawa's interviews. She always was very sharp and pointed with her guests to the point of being intrusive and invasive particularly about their personal lives. Between having seen interviews by Barbara Wahwah and Zane I have to say watching Zane is so open and easy and comfortable like having a conversation with an old friend. Content and peaceful.

The story she tells around 14.00 about the crew on Yentl writing a letter to the press to correct misinformation about her is 100% true - I have a friend who appears in Yentl early on, in the village scenes which were shot here in England - he has half a line of dialogue! - he told me before the letter even appeared in the press that the crew spontaneously thought of doing this themselves and the junior and background cast joined them. They were refreshingly surprised how lovely Barbra Streisand was to work with (versus the advance press stories) and how much they appreciated she was trying to get the best for them and out of them. Apparently she later recalled everyone in the village scenes (shot in England) to redub the sound, saying she had not got it right, not the sound team nor the actors nor anyone else, she felt she hadn’t done her best. They all loved her and it was a happy experience making the film.

As a casual singer myself, I can “want to” hold notes as long as she does (and Andrea Bocelli does) but one must have the ability first and foremost. Someday I plan to take voice training/lessons so I can learn how to breath better while singing and I would hope get better at long notes.

Her acting and music gave me a place to escape. Her music helped me through the beatings because I could sing with her in my head. She has always been my favorite singer; my favorite song is the duet she does with herself from Yentl- the most emotional/moving song I have ever heard- 1994 concert, I believe.....I finally saw her in 2012 in Vancouver and I cried the entire concert. I have been a fan for decades, but listening to this interview, it has given me such a deeper understanding of this amazing woman. I love what she has to say regarding all the negative critiques she had to endure through the years and the "REAL" reasoning behind it. She just wants to control the outcome to bring something to the truth and how in doing this makes the outcome be unique and be the best it can possibly be in the end. This truly gives more color to all her work, and something her book and this interview explains in a way that we all have an opportunity to understand Barbra! (if the viewer/reader so choses to be open to understanding how her mind and heart work).... this is the key is be open and not critical. The critical element she has had to endure in a mans world can be summed up and she clarified when she compared the USA mindset with European mindset.

Who would have thought that, that young girl that we seen 'oh so long ago' on the Johnny Carson Tonight Show or The Judy Garland Show would have become such a brilliant person. She's come a long way from "Happy Days Are Here Again" or "Second Hand Rose" or "People" Barbra must be doing something right to have an everlasting career in so many things. It's almost unbeliavable.

What a fantastic interview!! It flows so well because Zane and Barbra really gel and "get" each other. His questions are so well-thought-out and bring out Barbra's truth about her life, her work, and her artistic process. What a joy to watch!! Barbra is so intelligent, and a truly beautiful person, inside and out. I can't wait to listen to her new album in full and take in the gorgeous aesthetic changes. What an incredible life she has had thus far! Barbra is a true gift to us all.

She went to Erasmus Hall High School when I did. She graduated in 1959 and I did in 1960. I would see her everyday in the halls changing classes. She wore slopped woolen sweater and doe eye makeup. She wore silver bracelets and had a focus like no other. She sang in assembly without a microphone. I remember Barbra.

I will never forget that electricity I felt it could power the world . So many dreams come true such as this one - what an inspirational interview . My next stop as an editor of an antique magazine is to interview Barbara about her collection . What a journey of life. Thank you for all your words.

I know good music when I hear it and rap and hip hop ain't it. Today's rap is trash and garbage. I rather listen to Barbara Streisand to keep my sanity then today's garbage satanic demonic music. I rather listen to something that makes sense and about love and compassion then that garbage.

I never knew Barbra Streisand always wanted to be an actress; that's amazing news. Her voice is so rewarding to listen to - how she interprets a song renders/breathes life and meaning into it. I've shed tears over the years with some of her songs, such as, "Niagara", where the words brought certain memories back to life, but in a kinder format. Every song she sings has enriched my life and countless other people's lives. Her films have been fun, serious and enlightening. In every sense of the word, she truly is an artist. Thank you Barbra.
