+CBTWXMAN Hey there - yes it is a large rucksack. The medium MOLLE (if it has the frame) doesn't really differ at all as you have the cutouts in the top of the frame still to route the equipment retainer strap through. With the assault pack the major differences are that instead of routing your equipment retainer strap through the cut outs in the MOLLE frame (at 3:00) you would route the straps through the carrying handle on the top of the bag itself. You would still cross the straps as I do in this video creating an "X" on the back of the pack. Maybe I'll make another video showing how to do this on an assault pack.

Is that a Large MOLLE ruck?
How different is the rigging for a medium (the 3-day assault ruck everyone gets issued)?
