Under visor mount looks best imo. Enough to see what you're doing with the bike, but not too much bike that it takes up the whole screen, so we can still see what's up ahead and what lines you choose
For not the best looking shot from the cage. It could show a little less of the bike and more of what's in front of you. It would be better if the povs were from one route because the frame shot has an obvious stabilisation problem, probably through the dark forest :/ Btw good footage :p
true. the last comparison is the same trail, just on different days. by cage, do you mean the chesty? that bounce happens on rough bits when i don't have the chest strap super tight. also, i don't use maximum stabilization so it doesn't look like floating drone footage. you could eliminate that bouncing entirely if you wanted.
@@SuspensionTraveler yes, cage= chest xD but without gimbal. I had the same problem with the chest strap, imo rock steady is enough :p What bitrate are you exporting the video in?

Got a little dark there at the end...anyway:
Which one is your favorite?
Thank you for the direct comparison. I prefer and use the chin mount.
Which Gimbal did you use with chesty? Gimbal shoot seem smoother and pleasing to me.
Quark Noire Matter I think it’s called.
A single axis gimbal

I export in quicktime h.265 format in 4K and auto bitrate/quality
Chest + Chin
I think I‘ll try more chin this year …
