Maybe I am just not able to mentally comprehend, but how do I know what length my compass needs to be at? I am just getting into sacred geometry and I am so confused when It comes to drawing it....my intersections and lines are never where they need to be. I am not sure if you can answer this, but when I watch tutorials, some use measurements that are too big for my page. So I have tried simply using smaller measurements/radius but then nothing is where it is supposed to be to make the shape I am trying to make....ughh....
You can use software for sure - it will definitely be more precise. I have used adobe illustrator for digital geometric pieces. The software just has to let you resize and move objects (eg the circles) and draw straight lines. Personally I prefer working with manual tools though - they're less forgiving than software but they lend the work a more human quality I think. Thanks for watching :)
+Lex Wilson I plan to first learn the tricks of trade using manual tools. this definitely provides a unique connection to the work. surprisingly, I found it very relaxing experience. thanks for sharing your work.
I just do it about 2 hours, how much time you do this perfect islamic pattern? Only i can say to You, Thank you a lot :) . But need to slow to 0.5x on 3:00 - 3:30 :) .
Wow, that's pretty quick! I think it took me about 3hrs. Sorry it was a bit quick at the end. Not sure if it'll help, but during 3m00s-3m30s, I'm just repeating the shape shown at 2m36s. Thanks for watching :)

Do you know about any software which can help in geometry? or should we prefer the manual way?
