What would you say is the biggest mistake YOU make when playing marginal made hands?

I definitely do not bluff enough with these hands when the runout makes it tough to have bluffs.

I turn marginal made hands into bluffs at a solid frequency, but I definitely think I go for thin value far too often OTR.

I check-raise too often because some of these low stakes players c-bet 100% of time but then call the raise light. Cost me too much

@@stefansimovic6707 Doesn't mean you're check-raising too often, just means you're too bluff-heavy. Lots of people don't check-raise for value thin enough; sounds like these players would pay you off if you did.

@@adamshort2534 they do not want to raise fold as they like to stick with lots of gutshots/draws/midpairs. Problem is when on turn i do not improve my marginal hand and have to check to them, they find it as a failed bluff catch and bet too often. Probably should just check raise with nuts and wait for them to bluff into me.

This video format is sooo chaotic

Indeed. Kinda feels like a phone-in, but still… good to see some boots on the ground playing and reacting.
      Multi-tabling is itself chaotic.

I can see how I was making mistakes with marginal made hands playing live poker thanks to this video, hopefully it's a leak I can plug using the information shared. Thanks JL!

Wait are 6 tables common in cash games? No 9-man or 10-man table on that site? Or do sites that allow multitables don't allow a full one?

    • @PokerCoaching

      Most online games are 6-handed.

@@PokerCoaching Hmmm. I enjoyed Texas Holdem now and then (I'm not good and I limp too much for my own good, but hey I might be negative in the dollars/hour but I'm positive in fun/hour) and I was considering trying some online. I guess online tables aren't really the thing for me.

SC means "Sweeps Coins." It's the poker site's, Global Poker, way of operating legally in the United States. You deposit and redeem in US dollars, but by calling it SC "sweepcoins" while on the site they apparently have found a loophole to operate legally online in the USA. It's actually pretty funny how strict they are about it, they often send warnings to twitch streamers reminding them to say they cashed for "XX Sweeps Coins" instead of "XX Dollars" in order to not draw too much scrutiny from regulators
