Thirumadhi Nisha is in full control of whichever keerthanam she presents. She has a pleasing style which should delight all serious listeners. The musical accompaniment is also of a high standard.
Most Beautiful and Blissful Concert. !! Such a Melodious and Enthralling Singing. !! Super accompaniments , made the whole concert so very Blissful and Brilliant . !! Enjoyed Listening to every piece with so much of Bliss. !!
A Lively Concert, briskly paced. Consistency in performance is the hallmark of Smt. Nisha. Kedar, Natakapriya and a relaxed rendition of Soundararajam in Brindavana Saarangaa are my Top Picks as also the brilliant, concluding Abang. Her painstaking delineation of Poorvi Kalyani & Bhairavi needs a special mention as she engaged in a soulful, seamless exploration of these 2 Raagaas. Accompanying Artists did a fabulous job. Sayee Rakshai thrills us concert after concert with his excellent violin play. Kumbakonam Swaminathan's Mridangam was quite striking as also Krishna's Ghatam who will soon be emerging as another Vikku Vinayakaram or Karthik the way he exhibits his passion in every concert. (With Due respect to Smt. Nisha, the only point that's catching our attention in her concerts is, although she sings with an open throat appreciably, her superfluous stress on certain syllables like Vaa, Maa, Aaa, etc. subtly produces nasal sound. If this aspect is checked by her, her rendition will sound still great).
Nandri to Thiru Vaasudhevan for his salient comments on the principal artiste and her accompanists. We are indebted to him for his identifying the raagams also.
