So happy to hear a show take the stance of "your new deck won't play against all new decks from this set". Always refreshing to see people play and remove things and actually play a game.
As sad as it is to see my boy blown up by his own Force of Vigor, I have to say: this game is probably a great example of how much respect players should give to ramp/draw strategies. I’m a Simic player, myself, and we get away with FAR too many war crimes to just let us have free reign.
@@jamesgreenwood1703 I agree: both of my Simic decks have a specific wincon in mind, though only one of them is robust enough to pull it off most games. Turns out, ramping to 8 mana to cast Jadzi is pretty easy with fast mana, and my LGS is chock full of players playing Mana Crypt/Mana Vault/Jeweled Lotus in decks that don’t have consistent win cons. It makes it pretty easy to get to mine when safely resolving my commander is all I really need to do.
@@jamesgreenwood1703 If you want to build Jadzi, you might be tempted to put a bunch of Ramp Sorceries in, but it’s a trap. You only want a few, like Three Visits and Natures Lore, and maybe a Kodama’s Reach. The rest of the deck should be Fast Mana, Archmage Emeritus, about 20-25 Counterspells/Removal (The good ones, like Swan Song/Rapid Hybridization/Forces), Fish/Rhystic, Helm/Haughty Djinn/Wizards of Thay/Baral/Primal Amulet/Curious Homunculus, Fabricate for Helm/Amulet, Instant/Sorcery searchers like Merchant Scroll/Mystical Tutor/Solve the Equation, all the Low Cost Storm spells Brain Freeze/Chatterstorm/Sprouting Vines/Flusterstorm/Weather the Storm, Echoing Equation/Sakashima/Spark Double for making copies of Jadzi, Windfall/Fact of Fiction/Brainstorm for card draw, Wandering Archaic because it triggers Jadzi and makes you incredibly hard to counter, Time Warp for obvious wincon reasons, Turnabout for both surprise momentary ramp and infinite combo, Noxious Revival to recycle Seasons Past/other cards if it they get Milled or countered, Seasons Past as the win Con that lets you infinitely cast your deck after storming. Compulsive Research is also a very good card to include as a draw spell, because it can target opponents to draw them out when they have a shuffle Titan. Delighted Halfling and Cavern of Souls are both incredible for making Jadzi uncounterable, letting you save your mana and Counterspell for something that would remove her and starting your Storming. Ancient Tomb and Temple of the False God are both great in this deck, too, alongside Mystic Sanctuary to recycle a crucial spell. That’s the whole deck, pretty much. I don’t recommend playing this list against new players, because it wins VERY abruptly, and many tables want to have a more back and forth game, not a 2-minute Counterspell battle into a storm turn. Also, be sure to practice the combo a lot beforehand, because if you don’t know what you’re doing, you CAN kill yourself with Archmage Emeritus, and worse yet, you’ll probably take 15+ minutes to actually win the game. You should know when in the combo that you’re guaranteed to be able to loop Seasons Past, and then just briefly explain how Seasons Past shuffles itself onto the bottom of the library and recycles Turnabout to your hand, alongside the rest of the deck, giving you Infinite Mana, Infinite Turns, Infinite Mill, Infinite Squirrels, Infinite Forced Card Draw, Infinite Tapping of opponent’s Lands, Infinite Counterspells and Triggered Ability Counters, and Infinite Nonland Permanent bounces/Creature Destruction/Exile. Literally, once Jadzi successfully storms, there is nothing that can stop you from winning. (Edit: Also, be prepared to explain that Jadzi, Oracle of Arcavios’s Ability DOES work alongside Mana Cost reducers, as her ability is a replacement effect for the mana cost which makes it 1 Colorless, ignoring timing restrictions.)
CGB’s decklist in the description is mismatched and doesn’t lead to the correct decklist. A shame, I was looking forward to seeing CGB’s version of Anim Pakal.
I wonder how your overall ranking looks like! Maybe you should count and track it, that could add a nice layer of competition. As long as you keep it fun.
One of the funniest episode ever. Shea's been very smart. I love this face at 9:00 "Yup, two lands. Let's save people from each other to survive." Blake's tortois(e) pronouciation was superb as well as his ramp. Polluty dewdee. CGBoros being aggro and making Blake "salty as a sea serpent". Ben being a constant and calm smiling threat despite a whiff on Gishath's trigger.
I feel like the game was given to Ben. With power creep, Simic is not as scary as it used to be. In my personal opinion it was bad threat assessment that seemed a little spiteful. Blake does a little bit of what his deck does and everyone kills him but everyone else gets to play their worst possibles and get helped afterwards.
Yea nooooooooo its fair. Asei is a busted as heck card that is badly designed and he bragged about bunch of infinite combos. A deck with that serpent is a number one target for me at the start. Throw in infinite combos yea you gotta go fast and I will feel no remorse. :P
The decklists in the description are all screwed up I really want to see that Anim Pakal list I just started pulling cards for it and im really curious to see Coverts list
For future reference don’t bother commenting about the decklists being messed up they obviously don’t bother reading them this game has been up for months and no one has bothered to fix the description or the decklist links
While it largely due to just having the slowest start which happens. Shae really has made me double down on my own master multiplied list being more focused on non combat damage with impact tremors, witty rostmaster ect instead of full extra combat
hey cgb still at the beg of the video so maybe im wrong but your decklist you uploaded in the discription dosnt seem to be the one you played in game. Gl, much love
Great game I the miss on gishaft triggers goes to show that 30+ creatures are required to make the deck key. Some questionable targeting/threat assement.
Yea i hate asei and think that he is a badly designed and busted card. Would not be playing against a deck with him as commander in general let alone full of combos.
Wow, what a flex from Ben at the end taking out blade of selves in 1v1.
So happy to hear a show take the stance of "your new deck won't play against all new decks from this set". Always refreshing to see people play and remove things and actually play a game.
That Deflecting Swat move was showing dominance.
Loves when Blake asks Shey to apologize when if you pause when he does he has Walk the Aeons in his hand lol
Ben: "Ive been the main threat for months"
Blake: " im always the threat"
14:53 the camera shaking as you feel the anger haha love it 🤣❤️
“I’d rather die” -CGB. Goat.
shey really hit him with the "look at me, i am the chooser now"

Dude simic imo is the best color combo. It’s just that simic players are scared to be the threat and won’t put win cons in 😭😭😭

@@evanprimeau3810 he’s so cool I want to build him!!! Ultimate love child between storm and simic. Truly nothing more cringe

@@jamesgreenwood1703that sounds exactly like me 😂😂😂
to me this is the BEST ever commander show !!!!
CBG's decklist link points to Pantlaza, Sun-Favored rather than Anim Pakal.
Ben really blew up his opponents through the nobel power of dino-mite!
So much sexual tension between CGB and Blake
Weirdo
CGB’s decklist in the description is mismatched and doesn’t lead to the correct decklist. A shame, I was looking forward to seeing CGB’s version of Anim Pakal.
i love that everyone hears rhythm of the night when playing rhythm of the wild lmao
The Craft shirt was the best start possible to this video 😆
I wonder how your overall ranking looks like! Maybe you should count and track it, that could add a nice layer of competition. As long as you keep it fun.
i think CGB's deck is wrong in the description!
When a combo player sits down with 3 aggro decks.
I hated Blake getting knocked out, but he definitely had to go.
Great game guys
I love seeing Ben doing what I do every week at my lgs. Dinostampede 😎

king-making. but he would have gone infinite if no one ganged up.

Simic is fine to me just not that commander for it puts it way over the top.
Great game ; )
But man, how I hate simic ramp 😂😂😂
Blake looks so much like Marshall Sutcliffe here, I almost had to do a double take.
CGB WAS NOT PLAYING A dino deck! The discprion deck list is incorrect!
you know, maybe the anti green players have a point when its turn 3 and the two green players have double the mana the other players have
Dino fun - love it!

still waiting for decklists from the last 2 episodes xD
No mercy for anyone playing Aesi.
Can you post the Anim Pakal decklist in the description please?
While it largely due to just having the slowest start which happens. Shae really has made me double down on my own master multiplied list being more focused on non combat damage with impact tremors, witty rostmaster ect instead of full extra combat
If someone prevents non-combat damage, a good workaround is Devilish Valet too!
SHEA! That shirt!! The Craft is so good 😭
I am human and I need to be loooooved...

Just realized with chemil out Blake shouldn't have gotten to mana drain the regal bunnicorn
“Spells you control”
CGB has the wrong deck list in description
Not enough comments are dedicated to how awesome Shea’s t-shirts are.
Cool sweatshirt cgb, where did you get it?
Still couldn't help root for Blake 😸
Where's the Gishath List? I need inspiration for a Dino deck i'm building
Slobber-knocker!!! Love it
"I'd rather die" 😂
can you put counters onto a creature with shroud?
As long as the ability doesn't target, Anim's ability does not target herself.
Great game I the miss on gishaft triggers goes to show that 30+ creatures are required to make the deck key. Some questionable targeting/threat assement.
You can also thin your deck and get away with less dinos.
*thin deck before gishat connects
Doublestrike is also a good option
You don’t need too many xD you become the most obvious threat
@Darkagers it's an aggro deck of house the threat you're there to end the game quickly
Of course*
Constant mists is a card i love and run in my azusa smash
I like the wrestling reference.
Isn't CGB dead by commander damage on the second swing of Gishath ?
Why would he be?
Where is the Anim Pakal decklist?????
HE FINALLY SUNG IT LETS GOOO
Hello bro. Have list deck Gishath, Sun's Avatar?
Love a myriad that never myriads lol.
Dino redemption!
That was fast
Where's the love for Blake? 😢
He got hated on so hard this game
They always have a good draw 😏
Sweet game
i am still waiting the aesi´s deck :,c
BEN BEN BEN BEN BEN BEN BEN BEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love me an aesi deck
Wait CGB watches wrestling
Fun game.
Covert no blue?
Nice win ben! Also the people playing on this show are great and I look forward to watching it on Sundays.
LETS GO BIG STOMPY DINOS!!!
wrong decklist in description , Pantlaza, Sun-Favored is not the good commander
Some bad decisions in this one
Like choosing to play Aesi.
The green player in my heart rejoices with the mere mention of Dinosaurs 🦕 rawr !!!
So far every game I have seen the master multiplied in has been extremely underwhelming. Strong ability but too slow.
🦖 Raaaaaaaawr, but also I can whiff uwu ❤️🎉🎉🎉
I'm so happy Ben won, I don't think we get to see his stompy decks pop off enough, and dino season is the perfect time! 🦖
Yea i hate asei and think that he is a badly designed and busted card. Would not be playing against a deck with him as commander in general let alone full of combos.
I dont care if Ben win or lose GISHATH BESTO DECK
Please pin a comment so the top comment doesn't spoil who won the match. Jesus Christ.
as if the name of the video didn't it already
