Tangle wire doesn't get sacrified until you can't remove a counter from it, so it stays one full turn arround on the table without counters. That's why is so nice with braids, you can have the full effect of it, and the turn you remove the last counter, you sac it with braids and draw cards.
Not gonna spoil it, “To the Monarch-Winner! My favorite part of your victory was (besides the insane damage) how every one of you is confidently and humbly demonstrating how a Commander game can end (with a certain amount of frustration) with handshakes, warm feelings and, ultimately, strong friendships” ❤️ #ModelGamers #CovertGoCrew

CGBs face at @37:50 will live rent free in my head for a while. It perfectly sums up how he describes himself as a blue mage.....he likes to take that thing you like.....that thing that you want to do ...and crumple it up in front of your face. Shea is the villain in your origin story that you deserve. 😅😅😅😅😅
Why do I feel such joy seeing CGB suffer. Is this what justice feels like? Maybe for that Emry deck you recently played. I also have the pre-con where Anya is from, going to take it for a spin again next week.
As a Braids player (former/soon-to-be-again after a rebuild), I totally feel thet removal magnet you seem to find yourself being, shea. Drawing 3 most turns IS crazy BUT it's THEIR choice to let you be that powerful haha. I love a good decision in EDH. TLDR - you took the attention well, as I've been there too, when you're only drawing that many cards because others dont want to lose their pieces (i understand a few times in this specific game the other players had no perms to sac, but speaking overall in my 10s of games with braids)
Thanks for the Szzzzzzzzzalutations!!!!!! Always look forward to watching this Channel every Sunday. Keep up the good work guys, and Congrats Ben on the Kaalia Beatdown.
First time watching the show. I'm may be the first or not to say this. But, Shea has a little something imo that makes me think of the character Kinsey (actress Emilia Jones) in Locke & Key show. Her physionomy, hair and the look she has when looking at the cam.
I have a deck with Aurelia and Helm of the Lost in it and never realised the synergy between both of them lol. At least I learned something watching the show, thanks!
I love how the pod cries when Shea plays a tiny bit of stacks but CGB constantly plays permission magic and takes pride in not letting people even play their cards.
The difference in "stax" and "permission magic"(control) is usually control only hits one person at a time and not the entire table. Depending how control is played its not that bad for 2 out of the 3 people at the table unlike stax slowing everyone down.
@@vengray8055 I never claimed they were one in the same, they are both unfun to play against especially in a casual setting. Board wipes are a huge part of control that regularly affect the entire table. Its all subjective regardless.
Okay, it’s my first time watching. First, I want to say it’s great! Keep up the good work. Wish you guys would show all cards when played, besides lands. Second, I was wondering why everyone kept making eye contact with, Blake, I think? Then the guy played a, “queer-sive” Portal...... JK!!!! He just sounds funny when he said it. Also, they BOTH looked right at him. Sorry for the joke if you didn’t find it funny!!!!
Or perhaps is she expecting The Blue Mage to have a response? It is not in fact the trepidation of messing up in front of your mentor, but the respect for a rival planeswalker
Kenrith player should have responded to the cast of tangle wire to phase braids out. She can move to end step as active player and he wouldn’t be able to phase her out. He gets a takesybacksy counter lol I also play braids and she gets so much hate and really isn’t doing all that much. Rhystic study does more than her more often than not
He does get a chance to play during the passing of each phase though. But yeah that response play would have been ideal. The rhystic study thing you saying is situational for both. If rhystic ever works it's usually because opponent's don't make it a priority to pay that one which is a bad choice they make but could be avoided. Braids just happens without any choice besides 2 lose lose situations. So in most settings with braids having something to sac its almost always worse. The real problem with rhystic is the person that played it is playing blue lol.
So when "Rise of the Dark Realms" was played at 40:55 it brought back 5 creatures onto the battlefield under Ben's control. One of them was "Terror of the Peaks", shouldn't the other 4 creatures trigger Terror and it do damage equal to their power to any target?
If CGB ever does an episode with viewers and like gets them to come and play with him. I would be so ecstatic, CGB was the reason for me to play Arena for the first time and through Arena I found my favorite card in magic and my favorite commander Yorion.
You can't counter rise of the dark realms like that. Once its cast you would then have to use fierce guardianship that's why people ask, "does it resolve?". You can't wait to see what he's going to get and decide to counter it cause at that point the spell has already resolved, hence why ben is putting the creatures onto the battlefield. Thats a really bad misplay that ultimately changed the outcome of the game.

Might have to add Tangle Wire as Most Epic Salt Generator or something. 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂
All hail the Chronicler!
Watching shea’s decent into evil is a favorite pastime of mine now 😂
Minor quibble but Dihada's plus ability can only target legendaries (and not elephant tokens)
Always look forward to this series. You all are so chill and just wholesome to watch!
Blake’s hat saying Salty Crew is perfect for him
"You can hit my face. I don't care about that." is a quote that just made me have to explain MTG a little to my friend. 🤣

my god the "...yeah." he does lolol
Kudos to Shea for her tutor, she went for the fun play and I appreciated that
I know I’m late but this guy makes me laugh so hard lmao I love CGB.
The look on CGB's face at 26:45 has me dying. The ol' "oh, you"
37:45 is the moment CBG's soul left

The smile on shay’s face was priceless when she drew those 3 cards sacrificing the mana vault. 😂

Awesome show. Love the simple enjoyment of playing you all show.

Ben always miss that his creatures have vigilance! 🙂 Aurelia do have it!

YES! THE TUNDRA TORMENT HAS BEEN DEALT BACK! Thanks CGB for being a good sport about it!
And thanks to you for the request! 😁
@@BlakeMTG Of course! I'm bumping up my contribution to give some saucy commander and card suggestions. Thanks for the content! See you next week!
Loved Shea’s deck! My Glissa, the Traitor deck is looking forward to Braids joining the Tangle Wire party!

Anyone else pick up on how Shae looks at CGB every other play to make sure shes doing things right? Cute little quirk I noticed
I thought they were dating when I first started watching the channel lol
@@TheMusicMan1105 I'm guessing shes fairly new to mtg/commander and cgb is the one who taught her
Or perhaps is she expecting The Blue Mage to have a response? It is not in fact the trepidation of messing up in front of your mentor, but the respect for a rival planeswalker
More likely she's looking at a camera or Ben and CGB'S board.
@@Chaconcito96 Definitely new to magic with the plays she makes.
Shea was ferocious this game in a whole other way lol. Luv to see it.
Shea stax was awesome lol, CGB triggers (actual triggers off of opposition agent)
Lol, Ben should've grabbed the crown and placed it on his own head like Napoeleon.
🤣 TUNDRA!! TUNDRA STRUCK!! I'm going to do that every time I play mine now.
gosh i like the mono black commadner from Shey...think imma build it for me...thanks for the inspiration
Absolutely loved her hair in this one 🌸
Dihada plus Kaalia just seems so delicious, I’ll have to build it myself!
Aaawwwww man, CGB totally changed the way he shuffles. RIP otter shuffle.
Teferi's Protection is always with Ben lol He always seems to have a epic play with it. Hail King Ben!
Blake’s crown is so majestic 👏🏼🙌🏽 but yeah he was right it does make Ben look like a proper king 🤴😂
"Ben I'm gaining control of atheythetheethebletheblee that's all folks!"

Blake drops and island on TUNDRA!! Classic.
Ben: “Anya gonna Anya”
Everyone else: “But Tangle Wire!”
Anya destroys everyone…😂
Love the weird decks you all are going with!
The first time I played my Kaalia deck this past Friday night, I survived nekusar and lord Xander jaut to die to a Giada deck…
The least nasty deck won against 3 monsters, good for them lol. Getting beat by an angel deck must be sweet.
Why does Ben give me Blake Clark vibes? Specifically Coach Buzzer.
CGB getting Oppo'd was the best laugh in a long time.
I got “Shea got a rock.” Halloween special
So when "Rise of the Dark Realms" was played at 40:55 it brought back 5 creatures onto the battlefield under Ben's control. One of them was "Terror of the Peaks", shouldn't the other 4 creatures trigger Terror and it do damage equal to their power to any target?
It got countered by CGB's Fierce Guardianship. He let Ben check what he would've gotten before announcing that he was countering it.
TY for this episode although i already quit commander i still enjoy u guys playing it
Cool thing about commander it's easy to pick back up.
CGB singing the Bakshi RotK song 🙌
Dihada can’t +2 on a nonlegendary creature
All hail King Ben
Heralded by the angels
Merciless as they may be
Host of the many helms
Bringer of beatdowns
Good to see Ben back hope he's feeling better!
I got the Peanuts reference, CGB, love it.
I once milled out an opponent in mono white. any color combo can if you have enough power/tokens thanks to Altar
Nice Shea and CGB did some dirty deeds done dirt cheap.
Best commander show out there.
ALL HAIL MONARCH, KING BEN!!!!!!!!!! AND HIS ARMY OF ANGELS!!!!!!!!!!!!
I got your Peanuts joke CGB 😆
I was draconic milled this week 😉
Shea went full villain, snakes and all.
"I brought Kenrith, the Returned King back"
So, he returned twice?
I dunno about draconic mill but I'm sure there is a draconic drill.
guys is just me or is like CGB is a mimic at 23:24 when ben talks lol
Op Agent turned CGB into a salt Shae-ker. … I’ll see myself out.
The tundra part hurt my soul
the sadness of CGB to the Oppo agent is so delicious!
LOL! This is the saltiest game I've seen you play so far.
Also Teferi did waaaayyyy more work than braids and she keeps getting hate lol
As odd as it sounds I’ve been Goblin Milled
opposition agent play was painful for CGB
Op agent lets you look at there hand where was that interaction
Ben is truly a king!! This was a great game
Kalia w! Is there a deck list?
Why is the camera for their faces so high res but the camera over the board is all blurry and low res?
Friendly EDH, you say.😂
Holy! Whats the name of the title card song?! Youre the best.
If CGB ever does an episode with viewers and like gets them to come and play with him. I would be so ecstatic, CGB was the reason for me to play Arena for the first time and through Arena I found my favorite card in magic and my favorite commander Yorion.
Opposition Agent. It's one of the top 5 in the most broken cards printed outside of the power 9 in my opinion. It's way too overpowered.
How is a game with two tangle wires not a three hour video? 😂😂
I love whoever one the game because I love u all and think your funny
laugh a lot in this episode :D
Where are the boardwipes?
Man, how not to love Kaalia
Ben seemed less blurry today.
Teferi's protection... to me, it says "nope" way louder than any counterspell.
Tundrastruck!

Shay kind of dropped that one right in Ben's lap, honestly.
Well, Shay and CGB.
We need Stax Shea!
At least they Stopped P The T ing ......
Early day shoot?
Shea, why do you always commit to the dark side of the game?
i love ben hes so handsome and smart
Kinda wanna get a Tanglewire now...
I need the intro music
Shea is a goddess ❤
I’m a woman and I’m not gay but I want to marry Shae. No homo.
Go to an mtg video and don't find weirdos in the comments challenge
😀
My favorite part about playing Magic is not playing Magic 🤣
😂
