  • What do you do on a rainy day in Minnesota? A rainy day is a perfect day to process firewood (except for the photographer) from the dry cab of a mini-excavator, or a Skidsteer. Here is our Salesman, Tom, (hiding from work) processing firewood using a fixed head HWP-120 mounted on a Cat 304C Mini-Excavator.

I like this set up. The rain doesn't stop the work!
Where did you get the attachment? What modifications did you have to do to your excuvator to accommodate the splitter?

We build the Firewood Processor attachment at Halverson Wood Products, in Pine River, Minnesota. We do have several dealers throughout the country. Where are you located? You can see all of our dealers at this link: halversonwoodproducts.com/our-dealers/
In regards to mounting it to the excavator, we had to have an adapter plate made, that we had made by Thor Attachments in Fall Creek, Wisconsin.
To control the processor, we sell either a 6 button harness, or a joystick.
Check out our webpage: halversonwoodproducts.com/ or give us a call at 218-587-2065 and we can give you more info.
