    I have the Snowflake. Ridiculously accurate. 15 seconds a month? Actually that’s a maximum number. Most Springdrives are more accurate. Mr. Wonderful of Shark Tank who is an avid watch collector says they are an amazing value.

    Tim mentions it's 12.9mm thick, but the Grand Seiko USA website states it's 12.3mm thick. Can anyone confirm the thickness?

      Their steel watches have always screws... not their titanium’s...

      Their steel watches had screws since 2004.

    its gorgeous sure... but it's the same basic case and hands that i have on my 2006 GS
    why are they so afraid to change their "sports" models?

    • @nicks6871
      @nicks6871 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @japanwatchconnection sorry "heritage" or whatever they call it - i forgot how weird the internet gets with what kind of watch is what

    • @TriforceRich
      @TriforceRich 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      GS has several case types now. I like this case as it combines GS finishing, with a more conservative case shape. I do agree that a diversity of handsets would be nice. They give their diver models a different handset. The indices have subtle varieties as well.

    Does the crown in this seem a bit disproportionately big or is it just me?

      for a more elegant style steel watch it looks slightly on the big side for me also, guess it'll be nice to wind though

    It's a purdy watch. It's a quartz watch. period. Compared to an Omega Omegamatic (self-energized quartz watch) it costs significantly more. The Omega is energized bi-directional rotation and can be easily wound by a typical winder.

    • @user-dr7tb4xf4o
      @user-dr7tb4xf4o 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      It’s a mechanical power source (mainspring). The regulator is quartz. The Omega runs with a quartz mechanism.
