Subscriber 79. Rock on guys. Let’s see where your channel goes from here. The sky’s the limit. It’d be sick if a tone of people from Sarah’s channel would sub, and take your numbers through the roof.
@@bobuncle8704 thank you so much for this comment! It really means a lot!!! We are putting a lot of work into this channel, our fingers are crossed! Everyone coming over is being super supportive.
@@UWrenchTV Not szure if it is a BMX thing but angling the seat a bit nose down and not level is normally more comfortable for a lady to ride. The resto came out sick I had the same style rims on my GT when I was a kid.
I love what you’re doing. I like that you’re trying to modernize it and keep original Toyota as much as possible. A 5s oil pump and original Toyota crank gear has what you need for oem crank sensor mount and function. this will keep it all original and cleaner looking.
You're safe, I closed my eyes. Your project cars are so worth the time you invest. We have a powder coating oven the size if a chest freezer, so we could do bike frames as well. I still have my bike that I got when I was 5, it's now 52 years old.
Your videos are always well detailed and your narration is easy to understand! You do a lot of homework off camera and it shows! I try to picture you as a USAF master aircraft mechanic.
There is something so calming about your voice and awkward humor. Very much needed as i was stressing the pile of work i come back to after a week’s long vacation.
“You don’t need to know what is going on in my bath tub of shame, just know that car parts are being assembled “ best line ever ! Sarah, love love the content , my daughter and I watch you together and you are a great inspiration for women . Thank you !
Oh we all appreciate the fan wiring. Starting with a 20 item To-Do list, getting halfway though #1 and getting distracted and making something neat is a blessing and a curse. Keep at it!
What an incredible amount of detail on those electrical connectors. The OCD level of attention to detail on everything that you work on makes all of your projects just so awesome and perfect. BTW - I love your new bike! Keep up the great work Sarah!
I love the twisted pair and that you partially braided the wires. You are in the excellence zone, that nobody can compete with. I love that you are better than your competition.
It is worth it Sarah. You are on the road to greatness. Please be happy….I love your wiring. You make it understandable for non wired people like me. Thank you.
not sure exactly why, but this video really made my heart happy. I went Oh No,,what? when the bike first rolled in, but, I like. ---I also would have liked to hear the whole cam pulley optical sensor bit, but, oh well.
Sarah this car and what you are doing is simply amazing. Your videos are really entertaining and informative however I am totally mechanically challenged. Because of this you are a mechanic Diva to me. Please continue your amazing videos. you rock!
My bike back in the day was the Dyno VFR, I put all different parts on it, better bars with the bend in the handle grip, headset, cranks, pedals, seat, araia rims, and gumwall tires, with a custom paint job
It really is the small wins on the way that helps one to push on to the finish. I get stoked when I get fresh stuff delivered. Helps refresh the vision of the ultimate goal. "Love what you do, learn from every step, work with your own style, be proud of the results, remain open to change, but respect the tried and true, and every project will be a success."- The Legend of Myself.
Holy crap that bike is dope!! I had a chrome GT Dyno VFR when I was a kid (circa 1982). I would have killed for a GT Performer with mag wheels. I mean yeah, the MR2 is cool and shit, but dayum, I wouldn’t have passed that bike up either! Super dope 🤙🏻 Thanks for the trip down memory lane and thank you for 7:28... jus sayin’
I love your attention to detail on both Mr. Dos and that cool bike. The textured pieces in the engine bay look great, the Hall sensor and crank are too pretty to hide behind a wheel, and the braided wire cover for the auxiliary fans looks factory. I’m taking a break from my version of OCD-Ing over Jeep modifications (adding overlanding equipment), and really enjoyed this video. I’m not a wiring guru like you, and get a kick out of watching you piece together harnesses and pin connectors.
I love the way you use new bolts. That is one of the things I liked to do also. On my personal projects I used lots of cap screws for a little extra flare.
Crazy timing, I just did a video on flex fuel! I did it for the megasquirt and tuner studio. I know you have a link ECU. Corn is where it's at!!! I call it masa de la vroom vroom.
Every video gets watched for the stream of hilarious one liners, questionable glove noises and ocd of a completely new level. Thank you so much for your hard work!!!
FYI..... use a soapy solution like tint soap. That way you can move them around and when you get them set right, squeegee out the solution. Love the vids!
Can I say, thank you for having unique intros instead of the standard TH-cam greeting. 👏🏻 Mr dos is going to be super fancy when he’s all done. 👍🏻 That bike is very rad! Gonna check out the link 😎
Happy to hear your sinuses are no longer infected! That bike is very cool! Fred did an outstanding job! The MR2 work has progressed nicely, thanks for sharing, oh and don’t try to waterproof the trunk for a hot tub! To much rear weight, it won’t corner very well .
A little secret to installing decal stickers spray with water dial soap mixture and you can lay it on and move it around before pushing it down and squeging the air bubbles and water out from under decal center out.
Still working your back catalogue Sarah. Still loving your work. Always get temped to watch the new stuff but I am loving seeing your car journey in Chronological order. I love it because you and the cars you do are relatable. We can’t (and don’t all want to) do mega HP blown V8s. I think that is why I love your channel (besides the rather attractive star).
This channel is _hilarious!_ Most times, car repairers and builders get too serious with videos -- and this video reminds us to not just do awesome things, but to have fun at the same time. As somebody else says, Sarah, dont ever change that part of your channel! As we metalheads say, two horns up! 🤘🤘
your cute and a refreshing take on the same old boring car pimping videos. you bring a unique and quirky way of featuring how to build a tuner car. i just admire your flair for being weird yet whimsical charm don´t let anybody else change who you are.
Between vlogging, car reviews, updates on Mr Dos, and all the other vehicles you have.... When do you have time to get your nails done?!? Sarah.. you rock!
I thought those were Skyway Tuff Wheels. The first BMX bike I got back in '81 had those. I used to save all my allowance up to go to the bike shop and buy stuff to customize it. That's where my sickness started!
Words can hardly express how satisfying it is to see you do the wiring on the MR2. I can only imagine how satisfying it must be for you, even if it is time consuming. I wish I had the time at my job to work like that. Your hard work will pay off. About the Hall effect sensor: it'll sense the teeth of that sprocket going by is the easiest way to explain it. Is it just an RPM sensor, or does it have a TDC trigger also? No, I think you're getting that from the cam sensor.
Happy Humpday Sarah!!! The GT is a total time warp. My wife wants black bumpers instead of chrome on her truck, looks like I'll be calling up Elegant Iron. Stay excellent!!!😎
I love that you provide us with such a comprehensive look at the details of your mr2 stand-alone ecu upgrade. So much great information given, and in a very interesting manner. Entertainment at its finest 👌. Thanks for the update. Nice bike too . Always interesting....
Loved the intro 🤭 I can empathize with you on the sinus infection . I use a nasal flush almost daily to avoid taking meds that don’t help . Well I appreciate the wiring for the fans 😉 Angel hugs and blessings
Adding Loctite to the fastener threads reduces the coefficient of friction during assembly. If you used the factory torque specification that was intended for dry threads, you would over tighten the fastener. That is probably why you thought the threads were going to strip even though you hadn't reached the specified torque.
Fun fact: The Skyway mag wheels on your bike first came out in the mid ‘70s and were called Tuff Wheels. They were black back then and they were the shit!
The bike came out so sickkkkkk!!!!!! Thank you Sarah for the shoutout, it was a pleasure to build that bike for you!!!!!
