Akeel & Azi I actually think that her voice is as damaged as people make it out to be. She’s displayed the ability to sing without cracks when singing in her natural voice in with Happy Birthday and Something to Talk About and a lot of the songs on Glory. So I think that her voice is just as good as it’s always been.
Christian Scott oh 100%.. she can still sing yeah but I definitely don’t think she’s capable of singing songs she may have done in the past, her voice has changed which is normal but I think she lacks confidence to sing live not only because she dances but because she may mess up.
Looking through all of these, there's one common denominator: she's not dancing. We really need to decide whether singing can be just plain singing, or whether every live performance has to be an endurance sport.
I don't blame her for not being able to sing live now a days, after all those years singing live with the "baby" voice, that Max Martin made her use from the start, anyone could lose their voice singing like that for years, it's a hard voice to do

First of all the industry ruined her actual great voice but even after that she still has decent vocals. Lastly, a lot of current singers can’t sing too. Maybe better than her maybe even worse. But you know what , there will ever be another Britney Spears

@@youknowimright1725Nope, you are. She showed incredible potential with her real lower vocals but her voice suffered damage after years of the baby voice. There’s many clips from early in her career to back that up, if you don’t want to hear properly that’s fine but it’s you who’s tripping.

Britney not only has an amazing voice, she also has a unique and immediately recognizable voice. That is quite important for a singer and not everybody has that. Having a great voice is talent,having a unique voice is a gift.

What I dont think she doesn't get enough credit with her vocals is how she's one of those very few singers that when they sing live, there vocals are just as clear and identical to the recorded vocals.

I think what you just said explains why Britney IS a great vocalist. The only thing stopping people calling her a great vocalist is the fact that she doesn’t scream and belt (although she can in her natural voice), but being a great vocalist isn’t only about being loud and belting, I’m not saying she’s Whitney Spears but Brit can definitely sing well and I love her voice, baby and natural 😁👸🏼

Honestly Britney could sing and carry a note. The issue is that she was forced to morph her voice into that baby voice and after awhile she just couldn’t do it as perfectly as she could when she was younger. But while adapting that baby voice it also made her forget legit breathe support and how to utilize her range correctly. Overall I feel for her on a personal level. She is amazing for surviving through all she’s been and I hope one day she will take coaching and release a song in her true range. It would be a shocker and absolutely amazing. But take your time Britney 🩷

Her real voice is so beautiful and could have grown to be strong like Xina. But her team fucked it up by making her use a baby voice that clearly damaged her vocal chords. Along with smoking and other things she did towards her later years.
Actually, when she was a kid, she had healthier technique than Xtina. Her record label made her sing like that :/ and got her a full one year training to undo all her proper singing technqiue.
People need to realise 90% of singers aren't great singers, they put in the hard work and create a good performance. Shes a decent singer and great performer.

I'm sure she had vocal coaching during the times she was recording albums but I doubt she had any when prepping for tours, so keep that in mind. I think she does great live and could be even better if she had coaching consistently. I think she started to get used to that baby voice they made her do and that's why she cracks a lot because she's trying to figure out her placement; her real voice and baby voice fighting each other.

In "I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman", she can't help but switch back and forth from her "commercial" voice to her real singing voice to sing properly. Goes to show that she's struggling with this "commercial" voice that those producers suggested her to do for years.

I think its very tricky to sing live especially in big venues with so many fans attending , screaming. It affects hearing which also makes singing hard. Not only that, she sings uptempo songs + dancing at the same time.
