    How do I get the e book so I know how to finish the base gravy in regard to spices added towards the end.

    brilliant, cant wait hope its as good as i anticipate, been trying to get the right results too long,i bought "secret to that takeaway taste" and got good results but not perfect,have you used this book?

    yeah, but i don't think it's only a mixture of spices. Looks like a tomato based paste seasoned in oil. Maybe with carrots. Why it is kept secret?

    Hi Chris, this version of the base is a little different to the book. The book version has no spices boiled with the onions. Which gives the best result? I would guess the book recipe? Dying to try this. Just want to be sure I'm doing it right

    Isn't that the same? lol best get that book done and link. Been doing my own madras linked by about 3 methods and interesting to see yours. Video and book needed ASAP as I'm feeling the itch to have another bash. It's there, but missing the initial full flavour. I bet its the magic that's missing.

      I think most people would buy the base sauce recipe for a fiver, forget the recipes ;)
