No doubt the great room is my favorite room in the house love the brick floors love the timber ceiling, love the windows, love love the design. It feels more like a motel because of size. You know I'm a cottage girl. LOL
Absolutely beautiful home! I prefer the cottage look. It feels more like home to me. Of course it depends on how you was raised and what your preference are. Which design a kitchen for me would be challenging I want it small workable with few steps yet with counter space. LOL I wonder if it can be done.?
Absolutely beautiful. And probably more so in person. However, it feels cold and dark to me. I don't know why it's called farmhouse! Personally I'll favor a smaller kitchen. I don't want to walk 20 steps from one Appliance to the other. Back and forth several times preparing food. By the time you're done you'll wore out. I must have everything handy save labor and safe steps. While still having space for entertaining. I really don't care for anyone in my space while I am trying to prepare food I work best alone.
Stunning home. But it begs the question...does anyone with only two kids really need this much room? I could never afford a house like this but I have to wonder if I could, and I had only a family of four, could I feel comfortable here? I would feel like there was so much wasted space.
If it’s 1 storey it’s not a house it’s a bungalow. It’s not to my taste a bit bland with too much stone cladding, but it looks well done with quality fixtures. I’d happily visit.
Not a fan of the overhead lighting and mostly floating furniture arrangement. Overhead lighting tends to be harsh and uninviting, even with dimmers, and changing the light bulbs is quite a challenge. Imagine what it would be like to change out the pot lightbulbs or the chandeliers over the kitchen island and the bed in the master bedroom. Perhaps there is a switch that lowers the fixture, but having had that myself, lightbulb changing is a time consuming challenge since you have to be careful that the fixture doesn’t come down too fast and crash. When floating furniture in the middle of the room, it’s impossible to have table lamps without creating a tripping hazard unless there are outlets in the floor which present their own challenges. I wonder where the person in the office plugs in their computer with the table/desk in the middle of the room.
I don't know why poor people have the right to say anything about how other folks design their homes, you should go clean your bathroom and wash your bedsheets. There's a reason why your house isn't on any magazine because you're Poor. Lol
It is not a house, it is a hotel. Table after table, TV after TV, sofas etc. I feel like I took a tour through the furniture store. Too much of everything. Excess of too much.
Fantastic to work with Frank Ponterio and Northworks Architects on this phenomenal home.
To paraphrase the designer , casual elegance . This lovely home represents to this viewer , comfort and joy !
I love this house. I live in Colorado, it would fit right in at the ski resort I live in .

Welcome Arman. It’s great to have you.
My favorite! But I'm curious about the grounds...do they have much outdoor space? I hope so.

A bungalow is still a house dummy
That’s pedantic
Bland
