I have seen this item and I don’t understand it. A TV is a stationary device. It stays in the same place all the time. We can buy tablets to move around the house to do everything this thing does. I thought about buying one but then I started asking myself what would I use it for? I have TVs in every room. I have tablets, cell phones and laptops. What would be the purpose for this in my home. I couldn’t find one good answer to replace my current set up. I have a large 14 inch Samsung Tab Ultra 8 tablet I can take with me to any room in my home and sit on my couch. I have 2 nice cell phones. I have nice beautiful QLED Samsung TVs in every room. Then I realized this would have been perfect for my daughters when they were in college but would I spend $1k for this thing to be in their dorm knowing it would eventually get broken or stolen from their room?
@@madboyreadynow28 I think it is definitely a luxury item that does not need to be purchased, yet I found plenty of uses for it. For one, my husband likes to take it out to the hot tub and watch football while he’s relaxing. It’s way bigger than any tablet could be so the experience is way better. The TV also has a mirroring function, so I like to use it to make content and record videos while being able to see what’s on my phone on the standbyme itself. There are a few other ways that I use it that are valuable to me, but I think I’ll make a video on the various ways to use it
Just one question can the monitor be powered on without the stand because I’m interested in mounting it on the kitchen wall or it only works with the stand
I don't know why I can’t use the touch screen on my TV. Do you know how to turn on the touch control setting? It is grayed out, and I cannot use the remote to click on it.
Im not sure what you mean. Mine was touchscreen right out the box and I never seen anything to toggle the feature on or off. Does your remote work on it? You may have a faulty unit. I’d look into their warranty.
Pretty much. For practical uses, I think this would be create to use as a white board or for a Kanban board to keep track of your tasks and to-do items.

Question… Seems like Amazon is sold out but if you don’t mind me asking, how much was it? I can’t find it on LG’s website either
its was 1k before tax.
@@SincerelyIsyssand after tax ?
@@speed999-uj5kr 1.5 MILLION
Its $1k worth every dime.
Just one question can the monitor be powered on without the stand because I’m interested in mounting it on the kitchen wall or it only works with the stand
No it can’t but they recently came out with a “briefcase” portable version: amzn.to/4alenqW

Did you figure this out? having the same issue!
If you leave it plugged to an electrical outlet. Does it last all day? I know when you unplug it lasts for 3 hours only.
Re ask yourself that question the answer will come to you.
@ 😂😂😂 I know. Dumb question. Thanks.
Can you watch tv on it
On apps. Its not a regular TV. Think of it as a giant tablet. You can surf the internet and download apps like TH-cam TV.
It's a giant tablet.
Pretty much.
For practical uses, I think this would be create to use as a white board or for a Kanban board to keep track of your tasks and to-do items.
@@steverogers7601 mist expensive kanban board ive ever seen hahaha
Running a Smart TV operating system which makes most of it useless
@@the_mariocrafter would be cool if it had Android or something
@@finaldreamerx yeah but why webOS it’s useless. Add an android virtual machine at least
Looks good. Would it be heavy to carry upstairs
Yes. The base it weighted.
LG recently came out with a portable “briefcase” version: amzn.to/4alenqW
They should have made this OLED
Should have went with the apolosign 32-inch stand by me, its full android & has a 4k camera for video chatting
That camera part is pretty cool! Wish I knew about it sooner. May still get it! Thanks for the tip!
can u play ps5 or switch on that tv?
@@kntwing23 yup you can
CAN YOU PAIR IT WITH IPHONE?
Yes.
Can you PowerPoint present on it?
Yes.
Can you travel with it example but it in your carry on
No. It’s not travel friendly. It’s heavy and the parts are big. Wouldn’t fit in a carryon.
@@SincerelyIsyss thank you
They have the standbyme go that!
Can I play games on it though?
Trying to figure this out would love to hook my PlayStation up to this
It has a HDMI port to cast a screen to. So Im assuming you surely can play XBOX/Playstation portably on here. I will test it out!
Do you love it? IT looks so sleek and easy to move. I want it, it's sold out everywhere, I hope they restock
Its amazing. Im discovering more ways that I can use it as a content creator.
Donde puedo adquirirlo?
Consumerism 🐏
@@speed999-uj5krdone right .
What is the mobile cradle for?
Its there to hold the phone. So if youre (for example) live streaming and casting the image to the LG Stanbyme, it can be handsfree and centered
I got one of these also didn’t open it yet
You sell it and you open it to the other comments that want it
It's possible to use tiktok with this TV?
It has a fully functioning web browser so you’ll be able to watch. I’m not sure if it’ll let you upload though.
The tv can fall down if you bump into it
No
I bought one a week ago
The real question can you play games on it?
With a control and emulators.
Yes. Gaming consoles can be connected through the HDMI port.
Bigger devices are amazing to consume multimedia like Netflix or TH-cam. ❤❤❤❤
how much did you pay
seems way too small for what it is
$1k u can buy a $500 tv?
@@kntwing23 but would it be rechargeable, portable and large?
how much
Around $1,100 with Tax
I love mine. Clip the phone not the tv.

this thing was way too expensive
I agree that for what it is, the price is steep, but if it's not breaking a budget it is worth it.
it's a tablet on a rolly cart i could make one at my house@@SincerelyIsyss
