Hi, Thanks for your question. It’s a bit difficult to answer in full as there are so many variations and in 12 keys but there are a couple of general guidelines that I can give you. If the enclosure is around a white note eg F, D# E then make sure that you land with your thumb on the E if you are then going up with either an arpeggio or a scale so 4,2 1 would work here. If the enclosure is around a black note eg C, A Bb and again you are carrying on upwards then land with your 3rd on the Bb so 4,2 3 would work here. Remember that good fingering really is about planning ahead. Hope that helps.
