@@umabitr8157 : Buddhism is not From Hinduism . Hinduism teach that every thing composes of 2 things : 1/ Ãtman or self = ego= soul , last forever and unchanging . 2/ the not self ( physical body )
After death , Ãtman will reunite with Brahma , that called Nirvana
After enlightenment , Buddha said there is no self because He discovered everything depend on other thing to exist . And He won’t be reborn . That called Liberation - liberated from rebirth . Nirvana is the state of calmness of mind , not the union with god like Hindu think .
The karmic law Buddha taught is also difference . Hinduism have a cruel , strict classes discrimination , because Hindu believe karma is destiny .
Buddha taught karma can be changed , karma is not destiny .
Buddhists do not believe the existence of a god , who created the world , because the principle of No self , and the principle of impermanence .
