Hun! I just came across your video and when it got to the confident part and I see you crying I just keep seeing myself! I feel the same way! I’ve been dealing with this disease since I was 19yrs old. I’m 34 yrs old and everything you just spoke about here…. I went through and still going through…. My hardest has been my diet and exercise…. I was never a “fitness” person…. But I always kept fit because I danced a LOT! Lol…. When I got sick…. I had no idea what lupus was about…. Fun fact is that I still test negative on my ANA. I’m what drs call a false negative lupus case…. I also have Fibromyalgia and Sjögren’s syndrome secondary to lupus! I’ve lost my job 3 times and told I could not have kids! Good has been great to me because I am blessed to be the mommy of 2 handsome healthy boys! My weight went crazy up and down… I got pushed sooooo much steroids I had the whole moon face and Buffalo hump my stomach grew bigger too…. I I’ve lost the weight now but I still struggle every single day to just be in this world…. I struggle mentally emotionally and most of all physically! I want to get fit but I feel so WEAK and often can’t do much! I’ve tried stretch yoga and it’s helped a lot but it’s still very difficult! My hair loss has been really bad but it comes and goes as well…. Lupus took a lot from me and it still not forgiving and still taking from me but I’ve learned to just live with it! 🤷🏽‍♀️ it’s so hard because we feel like NO ONE really understand what we go through on a daily basis how hard it is to just wake up in the mornings and was to the bathroom or get dressed or even get out of your beds some days! It’s changed my life and I’m on the quest of finding myself again and trying to advocate for those who do not have a good support system which Is SUCH AN IMPORTANT IF NOT THE MOST IMPORTANT… keep doing what you doing! You’re an inspiration to us all!!!! God bless you! 💜💜💜

I'm so glad I came across your channel. My wife of 15 years was just diagnosed with lupus, I have been trying to gather as much information on this as possible! I have to say, I love your outlook on life, I always tell my children" IT'S ALL ABOUT PERSPECTIVE" I definitely got from you, that this DOES NOT DEFINE YOU! it may slow you down or delay you but NOT DEFINE YOU!!! ALSO, I have to say you are very BEAUTIFULL!!! SERIOUSLY! you definitely deserve someone to love, be close to, understand you, massage you, share with you in the good but especially the bad. When that day comes ... They will be luckier to have you!, Then you having them! But don't Rush it, don't pursue it, again... They will be blessed the day they find you. Thank you for sharing.

I've subscribed! I dont have Lupus, but I do have costochondritis. It sucks, but I've found NSAIDs dont actually work for costochondritis. Stretching, and posture correction have helped me the most. I am in a similar boat to you. I live in the US. Also, you are very pretty! Nobody would know you have Lupus before you tell them anyway. And if you get with someone and they really love you, having lupus is not gonna be a problem.

Thank you so much for this video. I was wondering if you could say why you can't take ibuprofen? I recently had a reaction to it although I have been taking it for years. I am having some other symptoms and was wondering if it could all be related. I have a doctor's appointment coming up, but you are the first person that I've heard say that they can't take ibuprofen with lupus. Thanks.

Hey Kenna! Reason being is because it can’t be mixed with my medication that’s all.
