If what Leeds have now is worth this supposed clearout Bielsa implemented (so, we are not just talking about managing the team but what it will leave the team with) then, yes, it's a genuine question.
I know I wouldn't like my team to have players chop and changed to fit ONE managers playing style, only to sack him a couple of seasons afterwards.
LEeds are still in a relegation battle. If you want Bielsa to come so Everton escape this season and next season they are still on the low...than that is not a huge impriovement on what Lampard did.

But I watched some footage of him whilst at bournemouth, and could see instantly that he was a strong coaching candidate. Not some austere, regal looking "masterclass" foreign manager stereotype, but a down to earth, hard working, good habits coach. Changed my opinion of him then, and while Everton being such a poisoned chalice did make me wonder if he could handle it, I'm not surprised at all to see him succeeding now. Well, maybe to be as high up the table as they are surprised me, ngl, but definitely thought he'd bring them success over time

Relegation will probably be the best thing to happen to them tbh, like at Villa 10 years back fighting relegation year in year out until 2015/16 when it finally happened, the club needed a massive reset and the difference between 2016 Villa and now is night and day. Everton are a big club they’ll come back but with this ownership I think the best thing for them is a quick dip down in the championship for a season or a few as it gets rid of all the deadwood and useless owners and players who just play for a paycheque and allows you to rebuild. Fighting relegation year in year out will not be a quick fix, trust me I know how you guys feel. Actually many fans do including Leeds especially Newcastle etc, it’s short term pain for long term gain.
Relegation was the best thing that happened to Aston Villa in the last 10 years as the club rebuilt and the foundation needs knocking down entirely before starting anew.

Everton fans have contributed to the mess at the club. The fans wanted Frank. Remember "Pereira Out, Lampard in". Now they are all emotional again and want Dyche. Get a proven manager that has won. Look at Brighton, they got Roberto De Zerbi. Look at Vincent Kompany, won in Belgium and decided to go to Burnley in the championship. They are both winning. Search worldwide for managers like these and not emotional hires.

Big Dunc has left the ship - probably after hearing this. It used to be the big six plus Everton (now it's the big seven with Newcastle in the club) and the thought of any of those going down was unheard of.
It's really not the end of the world if a club gets relegated. It's just football. The fact that 99.99% of Everton fans have not experienced it has turned relegation into something worse than death.
Some football fans remind me of little children fretting over the future death of their parents once they first understand that people do die. Get a bloody grip! You're grown men, not toddlers.
That boy that accosted Yerry Mina is the type of person I'm talking about. That man who tried to bite off the ear of an Everton's fan's son in the main stand is who I'm talking about. This caller breaking down in tears also needs to get some perspective.
It was fine back in 2017 when hundreds of millions were being spaffed, when talk of the top four was almost a realistic dream. Five years of blowing huge amounts of money whilst the Burnley's, Norwich's and Watford's and West Brom's of this world spent within their means - and went down as a result.
The time to shed a tear is when your club - doesn't matter which one - goes bust like Bury did. People will virtue signal over you but do nothing about it. Super rich owners will say it's a shame but not care a jot because it's NOT THEM. Fans of other clubs will soon forget all about you.
Save your tears for administration but don't pretend that your club doesn't deserve it. As a Wolves fan who has also seen half a billion spent, I'll be the first to accept our demise when it comes. Any tears will be for the memories of my grandad, dad, thousands of great memories travelling all over the country in all four divisions.
But I won't cry over a relegation - I've seen eight of them in my time and nobody died.

Delusional!! Bielsa would not touch Everton with a ten foot barge pole. He is the most principled guy in football and would not dirty his hands with the caliber of owner there right now. If its Dyche you want then have him. There is no miracle on 34th Street this time round. Everton are going to the Championship and will find it very difficult to get back given their current set up. A Vincent Kompany scenario ain't going to happen two years in a row. As for Jordan and his preening. Christ the night!
