3:39 Here is a technique that someone told me about.
Write sentences/paragraphs using the words that you want to remember about something that has actually happened to you. An experience that you remember. Could be something that brought you great happiness or regret....the point is that the experience is something that you vividly recall.
The idea is that if you use the words that you want to remember when describing or discussing that event/memory, then those words will be associated with something that you already hold and maintain in your memory.
I have not yet implemented this, but it is the plan. Some words I seem to remember so easily and some seem so difficult to remember. I'm making a list of the words I have trouble with and I'm going test the above idea.

Not only are your videos practical, helpful, and insightful, but they are fun! Thanks for the extra effort you take to make learning be entertaining :)

Can we take a moment to appreciate that in your video about remembering things you can see you've got a reminder written on your hand at one point?
Jokes aside been watching random videos and found them useful. Ended up ordering a diary yesterday after seeing your suggestion about it. Sounds like a good way to practice the preterite.

TH-cam has its own set of distractions.😒

That’s true. If you make a new account exclusively for Spanish, you at least won’t be shown videos that aren’t relevant

I distract myself and don't focus for 95% of the things I do... It's painful

it's hard to focus! try very short bursts of focused learning, like 5 min
