You very well may have covered this in one of the 400 videos that have come out since this was made, but set this pair back up and dial in a high pass filter on the Mod effect. Set knob B to max, and try sweeping knob A from about the mid point down to 0 while a beat plays. Instant GRIT!

Super cool...these two little guys sound great together...not surprising they both sound great on their own.
Love all the effects on the NTS-1 but the flanger sounds so tape like to me....blows me away.
The NTS-1 is on my "to get" list. Thinking about the Tonic as well and..... the PO Speak...Lol
All kidding aside the Tonic sounds really big, when I found out the Microtonic software doesn't use samples, that the sounds were all designed by the writer.

Yeah the tonic is definitely the most "professional" PO. Combined with the software I think it's better than a lot of drum machines double or even triple its price. The NTS-1 fattens it up even more!
If you haven't seen it yet, Cuckoo has an interview with the guy responsible for microtonic and the PO-32, I highly recommend it!

You know, I haven't tried this yet, but I will. Not because of the great effects that come with the NTS-1, but because of some of the awesome effects some people have written for it. There are quite a few and they cover a range of effects, some pretty awesome.
Yeah they are, it's a huge selling point for the nts-1! I love that it's just going to continue to get better as more user content is created.

I'm thinking about getting the nts-1 to pair it with my Monologue. With the audio-in and the MIDI-in I would use it as a 3rd oscillator with build in effects ;)
But using it for effects on the drum-maschine is also nice! (currently using the Monotron-Delay for this effect)

Oh nice, you would definitely like it! Your usage is a bit more in line with what Korg envisioned compared to mine I think hahaha. It's an incredibly versatile box for the price!

Hey buddy, how did you connect these to the zoom? I'm hoping to combine the two with my op-1 but not sure how to record the sessions...
I just use a 1/8" mono cable with a 1/4" adapter to plug it into one of the XLR inputs.
finally got my nts-1 today! so i'm going through all your videos about it haha. hopefully you still get this comment on an old video. anyways i have one question - can the delay be tempo-synced in any way? whether it be via the midi or analog sync, or syncing it to the arpeggiator (for jamming standalone)?
Glad you got an NTS-1, it's still a great piece of gear! Sadly I don't believe that the delay can be tempo synced, but you might to see if a custom user delay with that feature exists. Thanks for watching :)
