Our Motorhome Travels - Pub Stopover

We had a short drive out to Northamptonshire to check out a potential pub stopover as found on search for sites.
This was The Kings Head, Wadenhoe on the banks of the Nene River.
Beautiful setting, large pub and huge beer garden with moorings.
We parked in the village hall car park which was £1 an hour (Ringo) but to stay the night, check in with the pub and book yourself in for a drink and a meal.
There are walks adjacent and access to the river for experienced canoeing kayaking.
We did a short walk to the castle earthworks and village church, set apart from the village
