I'm glad there's an option manually configure controls. Most first party games on the switch seem to not allow custom layout without changing EVERYTHING with the menu in the switch settings. I'm very glad the Palia folks are making this possible for players.

Hi, I’ve been trying to use the ZL for my poles to connect with everything else but I am unable. The whole dock works well but the poles don’t follow. I did bind in the settings but again the poles don’t follow. Help please.
@joellepelletier506 maybe the poles are not close enough to the dock? I know if my poles r like a square too far they wouldn't get picked up in the group select But hard for me to know without seeing it If u wanna hop by my stream later on today twitch.tv/kfiercescene if ur still having issues I can come over to ur plot and see what's up

It wants u to press down on the actual toggle/joycon.. it's the one that moves your camera around as well. Does this answer your question? I hope so! 🥰

It only changes the button when ur on the item move screen the reg game play the tool ring stays the same

Is there some magic trick to place items without your character being in the way all the time!
@Class1-nd4yg I use my right joystick to move my camera without moving myself allowing me to move objects without moving myself if that's what u mean
