@@awlawdshecomin I keep Making good Money with Potatoes Farm, sale all that are not Star Quality , also Add Double fertilizer to get way more potatoes. Good way of making good Money. Also sale all that is not Star quality , you will only want Star ones .
In the end game, making starred potato seeds and growing them alongside starred tomatoes(keeps each other watered), then pickling the one star yield will get you far more money in the long run and it's continuous for as long as you continue planting and growing.
I found out not too long ago that I could fish at the mayor's estate. Lol! They have a little fishing pond in the back yard. I thought it was a puddle and jumped in and almost drowned. 🥴😂 Afterwards I was like hmmm🤔 lemme pull my fishing rod out and see if I can fish. It's a nice quiet spot to get a little fishing done. 👍🏾
I have noticed a lot of people i have talked to did not notice that the dragon statue is not the only statue you can pray to you can also pray to the phoenix statue that you spawn at in the beginning of the game the dragon statue gives you a bigger bar for focus while the phoenix makes the focus more efficient.
@@einfachluna4064 The Phoenix shrine is better since it makes you get more experience. If your focus bonus from it is 50%, for ever 10 xp you will get 5 bonus xp. But if you increase it at the shrine to say 80%, this you will get an extra 8 xp for every 10xp you earn. Faster leveling and so much less grind. Eventually you want to increase the amount of focus you can store though at the Dragon shrine since eating all the time is annoying.
on the same line as animation cancel if you jump/glide when going between zones through the gates it skips the slow walking. also if you are fishing you can see the fish thats biting before you hook it, if you dont hook it you dont lose the bait.
Thanks, had no idea about animation cancelling. I'll definatly use this. Some features I have found that are hidden (as in not brought to the players attention) 1) Keybinds. Having my bug-catching belt bound to my sidemouse button is a huge time saving help. When you stumble across a rare bug out in the world or after chopping a tree or mining a node, having to get the belt out by holding R and moving the mouse can be very cumbersome, sometimes to the point where I would loose the bug or it would despawn. Also by default some usefull hotkeys are 'L' - relationships tab (saves time on weekly wants), 'U' - Achivements (usefull for cheaking weekly challenges), 'Q' - selects item left in bar and 'E' - selects item right in bar. Good use of keybinds can greatly enhance this legolas factor too. 2) Invertory Overflow. If you fill up your inventory with main drops by splitting the stack e.g. copper/iron ore or deer hide, all remaining bonus drops will be put into overflow storage and moved to your main storage automatically once the overflow has fulled up. These bonus items being flint, starstones, antlers and what not. Then if you need more inventory space you can restack some items and gain a slot. 3) All items can be moved to main storage from any crafting station. e.g. so you can put pickled onions into right genral sorage menu while using the sawmill or seed colector ect and it will put the pickled onions in your main storage.
it's wild how i've been playing since August and yet i'm still learning things! Watching this i'm like "oh yeah i know that" but then that comment about hoe'in up a seed BLEW my mind! i wish i would have known that a few days ago lol
Oh there's another thing I found out. If you fish in the river in Temple of the Waves in Kilima (the one in Phoenix Falls) you get the same fish as if you're in the Bahari Bay mines.
That's because those fish are not "bahari fish" but "caves fish" so must people search them in bahari mines but you can find those in every fishable points in every cave. This is more clear if you look for fish using palia official wiki. 😊
I think U can press CTRL in game after you ping the map. So when u close to the marker it shows ingame like a big light towards the spot. So u dont need to go back to the map all the time to locate the ping.
The way I figured an efficient way of filling the watering can is to put the crop plots near/next to the pond which is also equivalent to walking to the well. I currently dont have the well but thought I'd share this for anyone who also wants some tricks to help them farm 😊😊
Does anyone know how to animation cancel on the switch ? I figured it out for mining & cutting trees but I can’t figure out how to hunt quicker & pick up drops quicker
Yo I am 3 whole weeks late to finding this video! Been playing forever knew a lot of this. Did NOT know all of this! Thank you my friend, and everyone who contributed! I have nothing to add even, you guys are awesome.
Not necessarily a mechanic, but I have learned that it's beneficial to money making to try and start playing at 5 to 10 after the hour, so that you can tend your garden before it advances to the next plant stage at quarter past. This is especially handy for players like me who basically have every single plant type in their garden. Also, turn everything into preserves before selling if you can.
seeds make more money than most preserves:) i tried making bank off preserves until i realized how much more you can male by selling a 30 stack of literally any seed.
the run and jump tip when looting! and the uprooting crop tip! i was trying to plant my garden in a specific way and kept messing up so I just kept waiting for the misplanted crops to grow before starting again.
For anyone who still doesn’t have the Sushi recipe: I got it from my house’s pond! Most things that you can fish from ponds, you can fish from your house’s pond, you just never have fish bubbles and so you can’t get any star quality fish.
I placed my garden in the far back where the fishing pond is at home. You can stand in one spot (without going towards the water at all, still on your home plot [within the lines]) and can refill your watering can.
buy recipe for upgraded storage from furniture store to have storage of 10000. buy silk from furniture store. (instead of catching rare bugs). buy iron bars and such from a cash register in the building where you upgrade your tools. when crafting select one of the items you hadn't craft before, then select "sort" then select "never crafted" to see the list of items you hadn't craft. choosing an item you hadn't craft before the sorting means you don't have to scroll up that much.
I found quite a few people know about the chapaa pile you can find in Kilima once irl. It looks like a pile of sticks and gives something random. Usually rocks or copper type but there's also at least one quest item to be found in there
theres a similar pile in bahari bay as well, it usually only spawns along the coast, but you can get alright loot from there. i seen someone on reddit mention that if your inventory is nearly full you can get better loot from those piles b/c sometimes all itll give is 1 seed packet or something measly like that.
One thing I found out pretty early was when going from one area to another when the gate opens and you slow walk to get to the loading spot, you can jump and use your glider when the gate opens then you don't slow walk. OK, only saves a second or two.

i found the palia tracker website alot easier to use, especially for fishing!! i use the interactive live map with the palia tracker for fish when i want to make lots of money, and can come out quite "rich" from it.
once you have opened all the little expansions to your plot you can fill your water can at the far left hand front corner of your plot near the pond you can fish at and you dont need to buy the well.
I don’t know if this is helpful but some ppl don’t know, that if you are in the crafter menu, for example the seedmaker and there are finished seeds down there ready to grab, you can drag and drop them directly into your box. Not rightclick to put it in the bags and then go to our box and put them in
the well feels really obvious to me. i built my veg patch near the pond (I'm early in the game) and left a gap in the fence for easy refilling. Will add a gate soon when I can but for the time being the gap works fine.
I built my garden beside the really small pond near the front of your house. You can refill your water there. I just hop over the fence, refill, and hop back over.
I figured out there is a small fishing spot in the garden area behind eshe and kenli’s mansion, and caught stared fish from it, its to the left when you walk out into the garden area
Randomly found you streaming the other day and got to join in on the Honey Lure Bug Catching Madness. It was a lot of fun. Came over to TH-cam to Sub and leave a comment. Thanks for the fun play time and group.
I've started playing like three weeks ago. So when I first heard the grove noise, I was so confused. It wasn't until I watched a video that mentioned it. I usually like to hang around the middle of Bahari before it sounds off. I've normally been able to locate it rather quickly.
We can’t have nice things cause if the Switch! We can’t have item limits expanded in DDV cause of the Switch… we can’t have grass or cattails and other flora and fauna in Palia on the switch. I keep seeing that the Switch 2 is coming out like next year I think and it’s supposed to be comparable to the Deck but we shall see…. 😂
At least the one HUGE thing is that since our game is through an account, we're not stuck to just the Switch. We'll still have our places if we play on PC or Switch 2.
I had always known about selling items to guild member villagers, but I wish that if you sell items to them directly and not to Zeki, we’d make more profit since they’re the direct source for guild items.
that about putting in sweet leaf in your worm bins to get speedy boost fertiliser is not correct, i tried both green and brown worm bins with sweetleaf and just got quality up fertilizer
True but it does close at night. However, you can go and sell things at anytime to hodari in bahari. Even at 1 am, just go up to him and sell your rocks to empty your pockets
You can ping party members so you dont get confused with who to follow. My sister thinks you can run faster if you put your tool away while running. I've tried it and I agree with her. Running slightly faster.
Oh I know. A lot of people don’t read the description. Many times I’ve streamed and people straight up said they didn’t know they could refill it in the well.
sudden thought i hope oneday palia gives us more control over our player homes, like the pond most people start out with for their farms, imagin if we could change the terrains we get a bit and are able to move that water , or select different layouts for areas (along side weather) but these are nice hidden features to know of i didnt know of most of them
Another hidden trick is gifting furniture to Tish. You have to build a bunch of furniture to level up your skill, but you may not want it for decorating purposes. Unfortunately, you can't delete it... Enter Tish: She will accept furniture as a gift, she's like a female thrift store. Donate here.
I'm so ready for someone to bring attention to the ridiculous pricing on premium cosmetics. It would be a lil different if there were other ways to unlock stuff for your character aside from the base game, but heck...
For real. If they lowered the prices, I'd probably spend as much on multiple premium cosmetics as a single set costs now, but I'm offended by the prices, so I won't drop a cent as is.
For those of you into the decorating thing. We found out recently that you can customize the picture frames found at the Underground.
fantastic news!
Not sure how no one knew about the well. The description says "A convenient location to refill your watering can' It couldn't be any clearer.

once you have opened all the little expansions to your plot you can fill your water can at the far left hand front corner of your plot near the pond you can fish at and you dont need to buy the well.
The speedrunning tactics are amazing i hope they keep things like anim canceling in
I don’t know if this is helpful but some ppl don’t know, that if you are in the crafter menu, for example the seedmaker and there are finished seeds down there ready to grab, you can drag and drop them directly into your box. Not rightclick to put it in the bags and then go to our box and put them in
Love seeing you got a new video, will watch it NOW! The second it’s out 😂🥰
LMAO THANK YOU SO MUCH
Just started playing this week, and this is perfect. Deer runs about to get alot speedier!
the well feels really obvious to me. i built my veg patch near the pond (I'm early in the game) and left a gap in the fence for easy refilling. Will add a gate soon when I can but for the time being the gap works fine.
I felt the same way with the Well, especially with it being in the description. However, some people overlook the description.
Hello fellow Palians! Fantastic tips and tricks
I built my garden beside the really small pond near the front of your house. You can refill your water there. I just hop over the fence, refill, and hop back over.
These are such great tips. I don't have the well yet, but I think I might re-arrange my plot so my garden is closer to the pond.
I got zero tutorial so, everything is news to me. I saw the wells in ads but wasn't sure we could get them, love that news!
7:20 how do you do that on the switch?
Sometimes when hunting a 4 shot serunk deer a rare bug will pop out of the ground often giving silk if you catch it as well
I feel the same way about hotpot! The Legolas reference was also 🤌🏻
I’m actually getting Hotpot tomorrow and I’m AMPED
how do you animation cancel?
This was super helpful for a newish player 😊 thanks!
Did you know that wallpaper can be used on the outside of the house?
Cool didnt know those things thanks dude
Great tips, thanks!
When are we supposed to put stuff down on the crops. Before we plant or after? I normally do after but i also do before too. Lol
Hi...how did you get gates that open and close in your garden?
You can craft those
@BrynnBumfuzzle where I get the receipt for this?
@@annascully83 Let me look, have you crafted much furniture?
When the grove appears at 12am you can actually hear where it appears ;P
I've started playing like three weeks ago. So when I first heard the grove noise, I was so confused. It wasn't until I watched a video that mentioned it. I usually like to hang around the middle of Bahari before it sounds off. I've normally been able to locate it rather quickly.
Came here from the discord! Love the discord ❤😊
I am so happy you're enjoying it!
I put 30 celebration cakes into my glow worm farm and got over 200 worms with over 700 speed poo
What is Hot-Pot?
I found a secret room under the lighthouse. Is it new? also the letters in there give me the vibe people are smuggling some illegal stuff
How can we get rid of the damn wallpaper that is taking up my storage space?
Furniture and Decoration items are unlimited storage
When you are in kilima or bahari if you want to move slower than the game lets you hit CTRL and walk, like the villagers
how about on the switch?
The amount of times that I was fishing and said 'if only I could sell to Einar'...
So on Switch that's what.. ZL and ZR same time with a Hoe to delete crops? 🤔
i think it’s the x button while the hoe is equipped but i might be wrong
I had always known about selling items to guild member villagers, but I wish that if you sell items to them directly and not to Zeki, we’d make more profit since they’re the direct source for guild items.
I also loved hotpot and wished it was around always
forgot about the rapid-fire when hunting, shooting your arrows without stopping to click the next shot
that about putting in sweet leaf in your worm bins to get speedy boost fertiliser is not correct, i tried both green and brown worm bins with sweetleaf and just got quality up fertilizer
This was changed way later. They updated it about 4 months ago, may be a little longer
@@PerzivalGG thanks i thought it may have which is a shame
What I would like to know is the bug attractor statue that Auni sells works on your plot?
Servers are down rn for the patch
Yep making the video now!
i found out yesterday that you can also see if you gifted them that day as well (i have ADHD and it helps so much when i forget if i gifted someone)
Tavern Dwellers, best palia group in discord and communities IG!!
You can sell almost anything at zeki’s since it’s the general store
True but it does close at night. However, you can go and sell things at anytime to hodari in bahari. Even at 1 am, just go up to him and sell your rocks to empty your pockets
You can ping party members so you dont get confused with who to follow.
My sister thinks you can run faster if you put your tool away while running. I've tried it and I agree with her. Running slightly faster.
I get lots of salt at Zeki's. LOL
How do you get 10k storage? I only got 3,200 and it says thats the maximum i can build
chest upgrades you buy from Tish I think...like the copper and Iron chests...more storage ...
The well literally says it's "A convenient location to refill your watering can."
Oh I know. A lot of people don’t read the description. Many times I’ve streamed and people straight up said they didn’t know they could refill it in the well.
Is this all applicable if you are playing on switch?
Yes it is :)
Last update messed up all my fishtanks
sudden thought i hope oneday palia gives us more control over our player homes, like the pond most people start out with for their farms, imagin if we could change the terrains we get a bit and are able to move that water , or select different layouts for areas (along side weather)
but these are nice hidden features to know of i didnt know of most of them
there are different layouts for your plot available from the premium shop but cost real money
Likely easier on pc than on switch with the run jump shot.
I gave it a go on Switch, it’s definitely doable!
the way i already knew all of these 😭
I cancel my arrow shot animation and I’ve gotten 2 disco deer so far only using the slowdown arrow
yeah but some of the movement tips are only for pc right?
Nope! They work on Switch as well!
@@PerzivalGG They do? How?
I didn't find out about the free zeki coins until 1 month into playing the game!
I don’t think the zeki coin thing works the same anymore. I not get one periodically even with buying something once a day
I NEED THAT GIANT GOLDFISH
how do i run faster, everyone runs so fast i cant keep up..and also can i change my name ...thanxyou
Better in be good than half assed
You know me! I want to put out that quality good good for our noggins to absorb
I think you need to buy more than one. I guess they changed it?
I got one of the new lots and you can't fish in every pond.
I'm so ready for someone to bring attention to the ridiculous pricing on premium cosmetics. It would be a lil different if there were other ways to unlock stuff for your character aside from the base game, but heck...
Oh I’m definitely touching on it soon
For real. If they lowered the prices, I'd probably spend as much on multiple premium cosmetics as a single set costs now, but I'm offended by the prices, so I won't drop a cent as is.
