Great tutorial! I went with Lasfit LS Plus LEDs for my 2024 Ridgeline BE high beams. They were $120 but they are excellent quality, designed for the reflector housing and they have a 2 year full replacement warranty, which is uncommon in the world of LEDs.
Just installed my Led high beams this morning. They are from Zoncar. Time will tell, hope they last a long time. I hear it corrects the poor auto dim issues. Good video!
Its a nice conversion when you live somewhere warm, like you folk in Florida, but LED where you get snow is a bad idea. The LED bulbs do not generate heat like halogens, so ice and snow will build up on your lens assembly as there is no halogen bulb generating heat to melt it.
High beams are not necessarily meant to be used in poor weather conditions. They are best used to improve visibility further down the road and to assist where there are no street lights. Fog lights are more for poor weather. This is why manufacturers should not be installing 6000k+ bulbs in fog lights, as they typically do nowadays. That defeats the purpose of having fog lights. Ideally, both low and high beam headlights should be bright white and the fogs should be much warmer, no more than 3000k. I've previously installed 2700k yellow bulbs in the high beams on vehicles that weren't equipped with fog lights, so I could use those in poor weather conditions. That worked out very well in poor conditions, but I sacrificed having bright white high beams when those would have come in handy. I now own a 2024 Ridgeline BE and I upgrades the highbeams to 6000k LED and I will also replace the 6000k OEM fog lights with 2500k-2700k as soon as I find an suitable LED replacement for those. This is how every modern vehicle should be setup, in my opinion, but manufacturers care more about aesthetics than visibility.
Are these high beams lights blinding? I'm trying to look for bulbs that are super ultra bright. I hate to be one of those people, but I got a lot of a**holes in my area that leaves the high beams while in oncoming traffic. I just want to repay those people that doesn't have any consideration for other drivers.
Great video I went to Amazon and they have 2 different models in this Auxito Brand A Mini Size. $31 Another size $56 What is the difference Maybe lumens? Please advise and will order Looking forward to a matched and uniform headlight look Thanks again
I have the fog lights on and it's set to auto but still the fog light and low beam do not come one. The high beam stays on most of the time even during the day. Not sure what's up

I hate the auto dim issue with mine. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. My CRV did a better job with the auto dim.
Thanks!

Are you still pleased with this bulb? I’m wanting to upgrade my Ridgeline.
Yes i still have them in with zero problem
Does the led Element sit horizontal or vericle?
The LEDs should always be facing to the left and right in a reflector housing, otherwise you'll only be lighting up the sky.
It’s been 3 years. Are they still working? Are they worth it?? Thx
Yes
Do you still have them? Any problems yet?
Yes i still have them in and they are still working like new
can you make a video how to replace the fog lights

I couldn't change the bulb because its LED but if yours not led just get the bulb size and order the led bulbs that correspond with that size
