  • Just wanted to let everyone know what's going on. I've been trying to mentally catch up with myself lately. Between ship work, love life, home projects, and all the videos I just needed a little break. Things will be returning to a somewhat normal schedule here soon. Thanks.

I appreciate your video's and the information in them. I can say that your video's pointed me to SIU. I have been accepted in to the SIU apprenticeship program, and today I learned I will be getting my MMC. Thank you

I really appreciate all the effort you put into these videos. It's very informative and helpful for the people who are interested in this line of work. You do a good job. Your previous videos have been fairly great quality aside from low audio but it seems that videos going forward are gonna be like a chef's kiss. Cheers!

I appreciate the work that you do in providing information in this line of work covering the good points and the not so good points. Taking breaks is necessary and sometimes it can be easy to neglect this part of recuperation. Like Roger, wrote "solid video and audio!"

What's up, I'm new to the channel, I'm currently a Industrial Journeyman electrician, and looking to transition to the Marine side of the electrical industry. Could someone give me some information on how to get started as a electrician on a ship

I’m pretty sure you’ll still have to do some time as a regular “Oiler” and then just take the qualifying test to become a QMED electrician. Not entirely sure. Hopefully a buddy of mine watching @Tom Darry .. will see this and give you more information.

I’ve made the choice to make more money this year. Ha. My current contract or tour I signed on for 180. I’ve only completed 120. So I have the choice more or less to return and finish the remaining 60 days OR I can give the job up and extend my vacation/find a new ship when I want.
