It was not a flex it was in the manga panel so they had to animate it.
@@shenivin6899 I’m not talking about the dragon. I’m talking Tanjiro sliding around swinging his sword after beheading Sekido, then the camera pulling back for the dragon reveal. They could have shown Tanjiro beheading Sekido, then immediately cut to the shot of the dragon. People would still be losing their shit about the sequence. But ufotable goes above and beyond.
@@Hananotaka yeah that final swing creates the "path" of the dragon, rewatch the scene in 0.5 or something since your brain didnt catch it.. it was very necessary so the final shot looked correct so the position of the demons had to be somewhat right too
@@elismart13 Let me put it this way. The shot in the manga is a single panel, so in fact none of this is strictly necessary. There were any number of ways to go from the shot of Tanjiro and Yoriichi to the shot of the dragon. Heck, they could have done it almost exactly how they did the third form in the fight with Susamaru, in one overhead shot. Generally, animation companies seek the most efficient and economical way of depicting action. Repeated frames, obscured field of view, cutting from the start of an action directly to it’s end, etc. Especially on a weekly TV show, you don’t animate what you don’t need. Unless you’re ufotable, in which case you top off sick animation of the three cuts to the demons with a wholly cool but strictly unnecessary flourish.
Tanjiro using the hinokami like that imagine if yoriichi was still around. Mind u Tanjiros version is a heavily nerfed version. He even said so himself that he isnt as strong as his dad n is no where near yoriichi level. N yet he still beheaded all 3 at once. Just imagine how powerful this attack is at full power with the original user of the sun breathing. I can see why muzan has ptsd 😂

I was going back through and I legit forgot that I'd already read this
I thought I stopped in the middle of Tokito's fight
I might've-- right before Kotetsu tries to do the thing, but I _had_ read as far as (he's tiny af, y'all are evil for going after x guy)
TL;DR I never noticed the yellow tips, and I forgot about the reveal and just vaguely thought he ate...stuff.
And I stopped right before the end of Tokito's fight and then didn't read for like 2 years

Sun Halo Dragon Head Dance
Imo, the moment where Yoriichi overlaps with Tanjiro is cooler than the actual attack itself. This is when I truly started to care about Demon Slayer's story in the manga.

I’m a huge fan of how the blade looks like a dragon myself and how it moved and sounded like one too
a lot of people want to deny it but at this moment tanjiro is hashira lvl he just proved he became equal to slightly stronger than rengoku.
Lol how? Akaza is more than double this demon strength and rengoku was scrapping so no he's not hashira level yet but he has op techniques
@@trapking2009 akaza was playing with rengoku, and hes not double his strength hes more powerful sure, but marked tanjiro using nerfed sun breathing is on par with rengoku.
@@bopqw1055 lol akaza is so much stronger than hatengu bro it's not even a small gap wym it's obviously about 2x.. Yea the nerfed sun breathing coupled with hinokami and nezuko flames is a powerful combo as we know tanjiro is strong af but Im pretty sure he isn't as strong as any hashira or on par with them as of yet.. He has the highest level of breathing techniques so it's enough to cause trouble for the demons and when its further developed he will definitely be hashira level or beyond
@@trapking20091. to be hashira lvl you just need to be able to take out 50 mid range demons or one of the 12 moons just like shinobu whos incapable of beheading demons was able to get buy on that alone tanjiro can do both with relative ease now making him easily stronger than shinobu who lacks the ability to make poison that can kill any upper moon who have stronger resistances.
2. marked tanjiro with hinokami is on par speed wise with rengoku (short of setting heart ablaze) but has more killing potential because of how strong hinokami is as a form. the author said as much in an interview that rengoku beats him in experience and confidence but not strength
3. akaza is stronger yes but in comparisons akaza was holding back vs rengoku trying not to kill him because he wanted him to turn into a demon so he could keep fighting him only killing him in the end becase its his job and he had a time limit of when the sun comes.
1 :Tanjiro cant keep up with shinobu she would one shot him she has an insane speed advantage and she can also kill demons without even being capable to behead them. If shinobu can behead demons all upper moons up until now would easily lose against her the Arthur nerfed her for a reason since her speed is almost incomparable even upm2 was blitzed more than once who is way faster and stronger than tanjiro so no tanjiro loses hard against shinobu until about infinity arc with the see through world so you're way off.
2 : Rengoku was literally praised a little by akaza and tanjiro hasnt done anything that put him on rengoku level the upper moon they're fighting right now is way weaker than akaza so I doubt rengoku would have any difficulty dealing with the clones. Since he isn't going all out(upm4) tanjiro got the chance to pull off an attack but seriously rengoku casual sprints are like short distance teleport so no he is still a ways off from rengoku speed wise marked or not.
3: Akaza was holding back yes but he still was pushed to use about half of his power by unmarked rengoku. Tanjiro was getting bodied by the clones until he got the nezuko buff then he combined that with hinokami and the mark to pull off an attack which didn't really do much since the demon isn't going all out nor did it take long to recover and start bodying them again

@@mateuslima9619 i read the manga hes hashira lvl, even tengen says hes not close to mitsuri or gyomie but tenges still a hashira. at this point tanjiros power is about as strong as rengoku was. he would be able to pretty simply take on lower moons if they were still around and wouldnt struggle at all anything under that.

Beautiful art style I loved it so much, but Did you know that the US government wants to ban Japanese animations in the United States? I saw that in the governments discussion on Twitter and I just want to know what you think about this because I’m mad.
No that has to do with the treaty that they had in their own country not the us banning their animation.
Pretty much they were making it harder in their own country for third party suppliers and users not being able to play certain game titles on launch day.
