Quick update. We received our new DP Thurs. (The damaged unit was sent back Thur. too) So far, everything is working fine. I still have to run it through testing. Glad to hear they replaced your unit. I had the same code on mine. Theres a hobotech video explaining that when the Delta Pro is plugged in it only allows 2200 watts out. Something to do with the internal inverter switch. If more things are connected than it can handle it will overload. Supposedly this has been corrected on the newer models. I believe hobotech had a kickstarter model. Anyways check out this video and go to 22:30 and hobotech will explain. Ecoflow customer service is phenomenal though. Also, I want to add to be safe. I charge the unit up and and dont connect the unit to grid power. I dont even plug it in. If my power goes out , I switch all my circuits to the Generator position.
Thanks for your comments. I already saw, but rewatched, what you suggested. There is a difference between his overload and ours. On his, it still showed 60 hz on the LCD screen. On ours, it showed 50 hz. Also, he mentioned he had a 20-amp breaker on the outlet he did the testing on. He should have been able to get up to 2400 watts on that outlet, if no other items were on that outlet.

It’s a good unit when it works. They need to work out the bugs. But they should email the people who registered about this issue and that they are working on it.
Thanks for all the comments. Here is an update. After making this video of the issue, Ecoflow customer service sent me an email with a return label. They are going to send us a new replacement unit from their warehouse. The question was asked, where did we make our purchase. Ours came from Costco. I realize this is a 7 month old video. I have a similar setup to yours with the same six breaker transfer switch except I generally run them 24/7 on Solar power from the Delta Pro. However I was just exercising/testing my Honda generator and charged the Ecoflow up to 100%. When I switched the Delta Pro AC back on, it popped an AFCI circuit in my house and the error 121 on my Ecoflow screen. It took me a moment to realize the Ecoflow was still plugged into the house probably causing a double neutral-ground bond condition. I removed the AC plug and the unit worked fine again with no errors. I feel the majority videos of issues of the Ecoflow's have been when someone is connecting this to their house and charging from AC. I also have been happy with my purchase of the Delta Pro.
Good info. Question, how was the DP being charged from your Honda Generator? Was the DP plugged into the Honda or was it plugged into a wall outlet that the Honda Generator was supplying power to.
@@Pk3_Garage It was plugged into a wall outlet that the Honda Generator was supplying. In short, the same Input for the transfer switch is used for the Delta Pro or the Honda Generator. So I plugged the DP into a powered outlet from the transfer switch, but forgot to unplug after putting the Delta Pro back on the Transfer switch.
I have the ecoflow delta pro and the two batteries, so far so good! I have them hooked up to 1000w of solar and a transfer switch feeding certain rooms down stairs, when they are peaked at 100% charge i will have all rooms down stairs on solar. Every once in awhile ill get error code 001 on one of the extra batteries, but it would clear itself after a few hours. still not sure what that code is? Just be aware that the unit can take up too 1600w of Solar, but its hard to find Solar panels with the right amp and voltage specs to take advantage of that kind of solar charging ability. Im very satisfied with these batteries. I bought mine from amazon.
I'm just searching how to clear the overload on my ecflow and discovered your video, I thought I did something wrong, I will definitely get intouch with customer service first time monday morning
Hi Men, I did have the same problem: code 121. Under garantie, Ecoflow Europe, i think, did a total reset and it does load again and works. Great that yours also works again. God Bless u
I have seen issues by other Ecoflow owners who had trouble charging their units while the units also were providing power. Some of those had two Delta Pros connected using the double voltage hub, and some had a single unit like you. I think the only way to reliably use these units as backup power is to disconnect them from their power source while they are providing power. Your unit may have been damaged due to lightning or a power surge. I was originally looking to buy two Delta Pro units to run my house as a secondary backup to my Honda EU7000is generator, but decided against it due to the many issues users are having. I will likely build my own rack mount battery backup system with a wall mounted low frequency hybrid inverter.
You bring up some good points and things I considered, before we made the purchase. I don't, by any means, regret buying the DP. It has worked very well during my testing. Not having to run our Tri-fuel generator, for long periods of time and at night, is a blessing. This situation with the grid power surge, is the first time it's happened in our area. Indeed, the summer storms are getting worse in our area as well as tornado warnings/watches. I encourage you to look more into how the unit works and learn from other people mistakes. It is really a great system and the best in the market as to cost and features. Hopefully EcoFlow is listening to the issues and will make changes to correct/prevent these issues in future units.
Same I don’t know it’s really comfortable having all of my eggs in one basket makes the basket easier to your know carry distribute embryonic’s convenience generally. Like safety and security if I trade one for the other I shell receive and deserve neither.
I've read your updates. It is good to know EcoFlow rapidly responded and will release a new firmware to optimize EPS mode. Until then, don't put it on EPS mode.
a very similar event happened with ours today.. it had been working fine for weeks.. charging it during the day using it to run air conditioner in the evenings.. this morning it did the same for no reason and says overload protection.. we have been waiting for them to contact us back.. this problem and it not being able to charge while running the ac at the same time make me greatly regret getting them
We have the DP pro max. And this week when I started the generator to charge ( using it in our RV) the unit it turned off the AC outlets and the overload error code 105 showed up. Haven’t talk to customer service yet.
To get to 60 Hz, please press the AC button for 3 seconds, then the Delta jumps to 60 Hz and the overload display disappears and it should work normally again. I had the same problem and I need 50 Hz. Greetings
Bull crap!!! They refuse to help us until we register our unit. However, that's impossible becuase Their registration page says our email and phone number are invalid. But customer service refuses to help us resolve that. They only accepted our email and phone number to accept our money. Now we are without the money and the product is useless!!
I had the same issue too. Charged it to 100%, used it down to 50% on my rv ac plugged it in to charge it which initially worked well until then RV got to the set temperature and turned off. When the AC unit turned back on everything went bad smelled like burnt electronics. Ecoflow is garbage this is my second unit. Both of them nothing but problems
A power surge is needed for those types of internal power supply. When using generators, you need a sinewave. There is no protection on the ground when a surge happens.
I received my second Delta Pro on 06-04-22. On 07-13-22 I had the Smart Home Panel installed by a licensed electrician. The next day the breaker tripped that charges the Delta Pros and now I am getting the same (121) code flashes 50Hz and Overload. I am now awaiting the support to let me know my next move. I believe it is some kind of flaw in the Delta Pro as I haven't used mine at all. The other Delta is still working okay and still hooked to the SHP. When my Delta Pro had this problem the sky was and still is clear, No storms of any kind in our area (Kansas). And I have a Solar system on the home with all the Lightening suppressors.
They just released a firmware update a few weeks ago. Did you update your current unit? Also, you mentioned you have lightening suppressors. Do you have a whole house surge protector and a single outlet surge protector the DP plugs into? Just a quick note, you don't need bad weather to experience power surges.
When the solar system was installed the electrician installed a whole house lightening suppressor and the Delta Pros are connected through the Ecoflow Smart Home Panel. I don't know if it has any kind of protection incorporated.
So, you just educated me on something I've never heard of before. I did a quick Google search on lightening suppressor. It's described as a rod that is on top of a structure, that prevents lighting strikes to that structure. A Whole House Surge Protector is connected to the main control panel. Its primary purpose is to prevent power surges from entering the main control panel, preventing damage to electronic devices.
That is lightening rods, my best friend and I had those put on our homes in the Late 90:'s. The electrician installed what he said eas a lightening suppressor that looks like a large red capacitor. And Thank you for your interest.
Greetings from Greece Same thing. AFTER UPDATE and having the delta pro plugged into the wall while simultaneously had about 200w current output enerything shut down(lights etc) Tried to turn ac output on via mob app but no Went down to see the generator and showed 121 err code. Reset it but allways sais 121 overload prot. And that smell! Filed a complaint to Ecoflow warranty department...
EcoFlow just released a firmware update to address the error code 121 in EPS mode. Make sure you all check your DP for this update and download it. I will try to find out more about this update as to what it fixed.
It appears there is an issue when using the DP in EPS mode. Here is what customer service emailed me. "We already have forwarded this issue to our R&D department, and they found that the problem occurs when the unit is used in EPS mode. We will release a new firmware version recently to optimize this function. We recommend not to use EPS mode until a new version is released." I wasn't told if this was the issue with our unit. I did ask them to let me know, if possible, what was the issue with our unit.

Today I had exactly the same overload 121 code on the display and, guess what, exactly 74% SOC as in this video!! maybe an indicator? Also have the latest firmware installed since yesterday. The overload code appeared during the night with absolutely no charge. I hope this is just a firmware induced issue.
Looks like to me with your setup, that you accidentally routed the AC output of the unit back into itself, which will destroy the unit. When using this as an EPS make SURE that the power input of the unit is NOT connected to a circuit that is being powered by the output of the unit. Make 100% sure that the input that charges the unit can ONLY be fed by grid power, totally eliminating any chance of creating a circuit loop.
Hi J Payne, you are correct that you shouldn't feed power back to the DP, from itself. If you listen and watch closely in my video, you will see that the switch for the DP outlet, was in line power (utility power) and not Gen power. In order for me to send power back to the DP from itself, the switch would need to be in the Gen position. In our transfer switch up is Gen power, middle is off and down is Line power.
@@Pk3_Garage I did see that, but with the Ecoflow wired into the transfer switch, it takes ONE accidental flip of a switch, or forgetting to flip a switch off that should be on, or vice versa. Using a dedicated grid tied outlet will eliminate the possibility of mistakes being made. I have a dedicated circuit for my Ecoflow, that has a transfer switch to use either grid power or my generator to feed the unit, and a separate dual circuit transfer to power my essential loads.... NO chance of feeding power back into itself. It's possible that you may have flicked a switch when you shouldn't have, or not flicked when you should have...... but I'm SURE you didn't, just in case a certain company's support division is watching.......🙉 🙈 🙊 😉
So, they, at first, told me to put it in a box and send it back, " . . . ensure it will not be damaged." I thought that was a joke, so I told them about how you got one on thursday, adn sent it back in their their box, and so they say they are going to treat me the same. That is cool. I was worried for a bit. What a hassle that would be to have to send that back with my own packing.
That's good to here. But, to let you know, I used the original box it came in, to send back the damaged unit. Always keep the original packaging, for items like this, to send back in case of damaged.
@@Pk3_Garage Yeah, if i had a box for all my toys, i'd have to move into one of them. They are sending the unit, already got the tracking number. Any trouble with the new one?
No issues at all. Haven't had to use it in an emergency situation though. As to the boxes, I only keep boxes for big items purchased that I have to return by mail, because of a warranty issue. We have a garage, so big boxes are stored there.
@@Pk3_Garage well, it is cool that this company is sending me one now. I thought you got yours on a "thurs" and sent it off on thurs, so, that helped my case faster. Good karma working!
Hello I also have a delta pro 3600 . My problem is 50w overload from a fan running . the reset button does not work either , we heard cracking smelt fire and shut it down . This unit is only one years old .I paid over 8,000 w extra battery and solar panel I never used. Delta pro is terrible. So don’t expect help. I have a two year warranty and they are saying it was only a year, when selling they promote a good bunch of boloney and then when you need them they don’t hear you.. I now have no use for this extra battery that cost ,3,000 and a solar panel that was another thousand don’t have bill in front of me could have been more. I don’t know nothing about this unit I am looking for I guess electrician to fix this hopefully then sell it. , hoping to get some money back on the unit, Like I said they talked a good one , but your problem sound like mine only mine is flashing red saying overflow circuit 50 w , This should not have happened if this unit runs a whole house AC very disappointed . .if I find any information out I will let you know ,but to any buyers out there don’t buy if this company can not stand behind their product
Sorry to hear about your unit. If this happened to me, I would make a detailed TH-cam Video of the problem and share it with Ecoflow. As to your two-year warranty, if you bought it from a third party, take it back to them.
YOur pretty calm. I have the pro it just stopped charging from solar and outlet its at 88% and it wont charge, though it does allow power out to devices
Just had a power outage and found the same trouble. It worked last tuesday on that outage we had, and it worked fine. Too sensitive if an surge kills it during an outage for the money. I regret buying this instead of batteries maybe. I had 100% charge when I went to plug it in, after setting the switch button it dropped to 69% and nothing works, charging or supplying. So, I called tech support and we'll see. What was your solution?
Sorry to hear that. I see you already placed a warranty claim with Ecoflow. Our new unit has been working fine. After the first unit was damaged from the power surge, I have installed a Whole House Surge Protector by Siemens and a single outlet Surge Protector for the DP. The thing is, with all the videos I've watched about these types of Power Stations/Solar Generators, no one has ever mention how sensative they are to power surges. Thank God we do have a Portable Generator, as our main backup power source. I don't regret buying the DP. I have learned it is just as sensative as any other electronic device in our home. (Extra precautions should be taken) I feel our Portable Generator is much more reliable than our DP, since our generator doesn't have all the electronics in it.
It works very well. The Y adaptor connects to a NEMA L14-30 power cord that was connected to the six circuit Transfer Switch. Using the two top outlets powers both legs of our system. Since the outlets are only rated for 20-amps, the max wattage we can use is 2400 watts @ 120 volts. Having both Transfer Switches, allowed me to back up all the circuits in our home. (Minus the 240 volts outlet in the garage)

I like that there was a Bluetti ad right before this video. If I'm watching this, youre a little late, Bluetti.
I'm just searching how to clear the overload on my ecflow and discovered your video, I thought I did something wrong, I will definitely get intouch with customer service first time monday morning
You can try the Overload reset button on the back of the unit. If that doesn't work, call Ecoflow on Monday.

I don’t know it’s really comfortable having all of my eggs in one basket makes the basket easier to your know carry distribute embryonic’s convenience generally.
Greetings
Thanks for this advice. That's good to know. You would think their customer service would have told me to try that, but they didn't.
Does this work? Anyone tried?
Just let Ecoflow know of your problem and you won't get disappointed with all the help that they will give you.
Bull crap!!! They refuse to help us until we register our unit. However, that's impossible becuase Their registration page says our email and phone number are invalid. But customer service refuses to help us resolve that. They only accepted our email and phone number to accept our money. Now we are without the money and the product is useless!!
Hi
I have exactly the same issue. With smoke issue . 12 hours after receive it. I hope they will do something.
@@krichardson3997EcoFlow gave me a New one last week !
Ecoflow will fix that right up. I think an update in the firmware will be out soon.
Update: I received my RMA today and am shipping my DP back for replacement or repair. I wish everywhere had this type of customer service.
Hello, i have the same exact problem!!…. Is there a fix?
Thanks from France for your informative video..!
Greetings from Greece
Same thing.
AFTER UPDATE and having the delta pro plugged into the wall while simultaneously had about 200w current output enerything shut down(lights etc) Tried to turn ac output on via mob app but no
Went down to see the generator and showed 121 err code.
Just updated mine. Thanks.
Do you know what the update version is?
Do the update on your DP and it will list what the update is for.
It appears there is an issue when using the DP in EPS mode. Here is what customer service emailed me.
"We already have forwarded this issue to our R&D department, and they found that the problem occurs when the unit is used in EPS mode. We will release a new firmware version recently to optimize this function. We recommend not to use EPS mode until a new version is released."
I wasn't told if this was the issue with our unit.
I have been using a Delta Pro for the past few months and I have never had any problems with it.
I have the same problem how do I fix it its frustrating
Well you can watch a 12 minute video and get no answers.. Cool right?
I have a different error code on mine and it won't charge from a wall outlet. I sure hope I don't have to return it!!!!
Is it showing any trouble codes? If so what code(s)?
No updates. I have a similar issue but wanted an answer
I sent Ecoflow our damaged unit and they sent out a new unit. No issues so far.
Same exact thing happened to me there first time I tried to charge on AC while connected to transfer panel. Garbage.
Something that caught my attention in your video is that it looked like you had a Y plug connected to 2 outputs on your DP. How does that work?
It works very well. The Y adaptor connects to a NEMA L14-30 power cord that was connected to the six circuit Transfer Switch. Using the two top outlets powers both legs of our system. Since the outlets are only rated for 20-amps, the max wattage we can use is 2400 watts @ 120 volts.
Having both Transfer Switches, allowed me to back up all the circuits in our home. (Minus the 240 volts outlet in the garage)
Alguém poderia me dizer como reseto a minha river pro 2?
Looks I am not the only one with ecoflow issues
For anyone having issues and needing to contact Ecoflow Customer Service, here is the link to their emails.

My Delta Pro just showed an Overload message and shutting itself off with zero load being used. I guess customer service call tomorrow for sure
I had a similar issue, but don’t know how to contact eco flow customer service. Do they have an 800# or email?
Contact them through the app. And their website.
Great video
Was debating to buy ecoflow, bluetti, or all in one system. After saw many problem with delta pro, I’ll might just buy AC300, even thought delta pro looks much better
Even with the issue we had with our unit, I don't regret our purchase and would buy EcoFlow products again. EcoFlow just released a firmware update to fix the error code 121 in EPS mode. They have a great customer service and quick to resolve issues.
The Bluetti AC300 is a nice unit. Just remember, you need to buy the main unit, the invertor, and battery.
Literally the same exact code popped on me last night I’m trying” help “ set up now I did nothing out of the ordinary. Bluetti eb240s are picking up the slack currently as I try not to melt in Florida heat. Relying on one centralized power unit sketched me out from the beginning. Like NASA triple redundancies at minimum. Double edge sword the Eco Flo pro is/was such a powerhouse all the solar in and as much out. Allowing for greater flexibility until he died with same exact 121 code😳 please update because $4000 paperweight sucks.GB
Mine did the same thing 3 weeks ago. I was using AC pass through and poof. I'm really regretting buy this with the two EB's and 2000 watts of solar. Bloody POS.

Send it in for repair
Who pays for shipping? I don’t know but for no apparently discernible reason shipping has nearly quadrupled. Same a lot of Canadian bifacial solar panels I ordered in February for $220 in shipping is now $550 shipping A month ago and it’s not getting better. Specially since likely developers failure software or mechanically
This is crazy I have the same exact problem
We had the exact same problem. With our Delta max. Now with our Delta pro. Customer service tells us we have to open an account with them before they can help us. That is impossible. It says email invalid. Phone number invalid. We'll, our email and phone number were valid enough to take almost $8000.00 from us and send us faulty units! Don't even consider ECOFLOW. It is a scam!!.
Sorry to hear about your issue. Were your units registered with EcoFlow? If not, go on their website and register your units. Then contact them again, through the app and online.
@@Pk3_Garage Thank you. The app wouldn't let me register it. Until... last night, I went to the desktop sight button on my phone. Phew. That worked. Today they sent our problem to the appropriate department and they are going to call us back.
Let me know how it turns out.
@@Pk3_Garage ok.👍
