I have a 6 m trailer sailer w a 2 hp 4stroke Honda. I went 15 NM on 2 l of gasoline in 4 kn on a calm day. Used about 12 liters in total over the summer. 19 days out sailing.
Hi Simon, I’m a Chef by trade, and that’s got to be one of the best cookery demos I’ve seen in such a small place and remoteness. Love your videos. I am off sailing pastures new in a couple of weeks. but you will have to catch that on my channel. Far winds pal.
Colin, My daughter has one for trail walking very effective for heating up water cooking camp food but cooking for a family not enough heat so would boil the stakes! take to long to cook a meal for me. Happy Christmas regards Simon
Bon Appetit! Very interesting. A pressure pot is a good idea. Little drop of those nice Hunter Valley wines would also go down a treat. Or, do do you not drink and drive?
Awesome video...! Thank you for posting your sailing voyages. Would you please also post here in the comments, what video equipment do you use..? How many cameras..? How do you edit these videos, and what boat do you sail with. Thank you
love this one Simon! We just found a new 4 litre Pressure Cooker (Hawkins) on eBay and have been trying some recipes. Pressure Cooker should save gas I imagine, as well as time. Heading for Fraser Island this week in our boat so we'll try it out at Coongul and Wathumba. Might see you there. Thanks for your efforts to make these excellent videos.
+Geoff Reichelt Geoff, We may be able to let off steam together ! I am heading off tomorrow for Harvey Bay. I don't think I be able to get my family out the boat club for a few days, they are addicted to the Ice Chocolates. Have a nice sail down from Tincan Bay. regards Simon
+Simon Carter We're launching at Urangan Thursday and across to Coongul Creek for 2 or 3 days, then up to Wathumba/Rooney perhaps. Depends on weather. Hope to see you and crew. regards, Geoff.

good tips about not getting scolded , would suck being badly burnt far from help
I do my rice in the pressure cooker. 5 mins of cooking, kill the heat, and let it come down naturally for 18-20 mins. Perfect
This video made me hungry.
Great video :)
