I placed a huge bet. I was standing near the finish line watching the race not on the tv but standing by the railings. It was difficult to recognise who won as they were the same owners with the same colours, elusive pimpernel and mystic memory. tense few minutes before i confirmed from 3 people that he had indeed won.
One of the best horse our country produced. ..could have won races abroad.
