- In this episode we are fishing out of Jupiter Inlet here in Florida with Rob from Deer Meat For Dinner. We work hard to find the fish and when things are looking rough the episode turns into a catch n cook.

Doug from Survivor Diet won the Deer Meat For Dinner drawing and invited me to go out fishing with Rob out of the Jupiter Inlet. Originally we were supposed to go to the Deer Meat For Dinner ranch but ended up just fishing out of the Jupiter Inlet all day. And ended the day with a nice catch n cook.
We start by fishing the Jupiter Inlet for snook. The boats were stacked up and we couldn't produce a bite on live bait bottom fishing. No worries! We run offshore fishing in search of another bottom fishing spot further offshore. We use live bait again and hook into some big nurse sharks. We wanted to catch a snapper but just kept catching those big nurse sharks.
We 100% had some decent snapper on, but it seems like the nurse shark got the better of us while bottom fishing. We head back to the Jupiter Inlet for another shot at snook and turning this fishing episode into a catch and cook. We will not fail!
At the Jupiter Inlet Chris hooks into a nice Cubera Snapper and saves the day! Now this Cubera Snapper will have a chance to be on a South Florida Fishing Channel catch n cook episode!

That first spot you guys were sitting in the inlet is where I grew up fishing for snook every time I visited my grandfather.
And he blows up, proud to say I was one of the firsts! Keep it up!
Me and my daughter(10) have been huge Deer Meat For Dinner fans but honestly when we watched the winners for the Staniel Keys Trip we were both so unexpectedly excited to see you and Chris! You guys should use a fixed slider rig for your sinker. That way you don't have to hand line that long ass leader. You just unclip the weight and reel in all the way. Look up Elberta Clipper. It would be perfect for what you're doing.
i'll check it out. I think rob didn't plan on going bottom fishing so we had the rod setups there and tried our best with what we had

Just a reply to give our thanks from your home town! Waters been ok here in sebastian and with snook season opening sept 1st it’s been crazy. 34”-38” is common. All big fish here. Majara are thick as well as finger mullet. The reds have been hot and thick!! With the mullet we have had some flounder. Not much but some is better than none. A BIG THANK YOU for your service... get home safe and soon!! 🇺🇸
