    Lost in doing, thinking, interpreting 😢in the anguish of not doing correctly.🥴 I was exhausted and it wasn't long before I would have to be admitted to the psychiatric ward.😢😂
    This was before meeting E. Tolle. ✨✨✨
    Now everything has changed even though everything has remained the same.
    That's the magic. ❤
    I will never be grateful enough.

    i had a remarkable experience recently, one of several lately, i was on a meditative walk on the waterfront. I was lost in some emotional irritation i could'nt shake off. Then, at the end of the hour long walk i noticed the ocean looking different somehow. I was extremely present all of a sudden. My emotional strain was still there but seemed unimportant. I spent the rest of the day and night in peace. It was beautiful. Since then, i meditate and find normal peace. Love it all!

    To live in the present moment everyday one must empty one's mind of pre-thoughts and fore-thoughts, because otherwise they'll get lost in identification with form again and that is falling back into one's egoic mind. So there should be no identification with the self in the present moment of being. Thank you Eckhart for always speaking divine truth and wisdom.

    Time stamp 10 min to 14 min is the key for me at this moment. “How to break the thought loop”.
    Trusting the universe/God of which our essence is made of is the ultimate goal. How crafty the ego is in its desire to reign supreme!

    • @mrs8768
      @mrs8768 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I wouldnt say our essence is God, rather that if we get to know ourselves(our essence), we get to know God. Our essence and God are very closely intertwined but they are separate things. We are beings in absolute poverty, and our very existence, our greatness, our power is all given by God. God created and maintains our existence. We are not God, but we are essentially in spiritual unity with God.

      What are thoughts and thinking about thoughts? Basically it's us having a conversation with ourselves. It's not easy by any means but it is simple, simply don't have unwanted conversations with ourselves or more accurately our minds, once we realise we engaging in an unwanted internal conversation with ourselves (our minds) we can simply choose to stop and change the subject. In reality it's us not our minds who have all the power and get to choose and decide what we do and don't do, there are absolutely no thoughts that need to be thought about for everything to be OK 🙏🙏🙏🙏

  • @aprilkitten
    @aprilkitten 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

    The moment that awarenes becomes aware of itself, you can never be completely trapped in thought identification again, as once you develop this skill you can never lose it, even though you may not always choose not to use it.

    ❤ THINKING PRECEDES ACTION &
    DESIRE precedes THINKING
    So the root cause of almost constant, thinking, agitation, identification, extroversion and distraction is desire.
    And as you said, impatience is wanting (desiring ) to be in the next moment while one is here.
    It all arises from desire which is insatiable and is rarely content with what is and what is happening here and now.
    That is why in all the great spiritual traditions the absence of desire (through its elimination by practice ) is considered the state of Liberation and Self-Realization.
    And finally, I clarify that desire is the essential nature of the Ego or egoic Self.
    Therefore, by dissolving desire we dissolve the Ego.

      No. The root cause of thinking is identification with the person. Roughly 95% of our thoughts are about ego: you and the ones close to you. Once you leave the personal perspective and realize you are consciousness, the number of thoughts will drop dramatically.

    Regarding the present moment as a means to an end is adultery. To think that the present moment is a bottomless pit of joy! All the time nice things are suggested to me, I don't even have a split second to get bored! Oh, yes, what was that other pleasant thing that I can do right now? All the time! It is infinity. Challenges keep occurring, like you said, but when I get out of them, I realise that they have taught me to enjoy life even more than I already did. There is no end to this. It IS the end.

    My form and mind are repeatedly challenged by the question... Why does consciousness have the need to create forms, thoughts, emotions, ego, egoic sense of self, sense of identity, unconsciousness, etc., that long to liberate and "awaken" to awareness, spiritual awakening from identification with form, and transcendent self-awareness? 🤷🏻‍♀️🙃

    • @simonsjoquist6862

      Perhaps it just needs a project, the same way we humans do. Maybe we need to strive for something, maybe we need goals to achieve. And maybe the consciousness have the same need. Why? Because life would be empty otherwise. Maybe stillness cant exist without movement the same way day can't exist without the night.

    Not gonna lie, I smoked some weed before listening to this and was too caught up in my own thoughts and emotions to listen. Everything word of his that got through was true of my present experience...

      @@celesteburley4035 Not the point. When tomorrow arrives, it arrives as today. If we think feel and do mostly for tomorrow, we're not living in the present, and we also won't be present in the today of the future, because we're always in "tomorrow." Most of life is missed in this manner.
