I made this cake today. Hands down the best lemon cake ever. Super moist and not too tart. My husband doesn’t like lemon dished but loves this. I’m glad I found your channel.
Hey, it turned out really good. And one thing I want to appreciate the most is you are the first I've seen on TH-cam who mentions the mode of oven needed for baking. That's really important for me who doesn't know much of baking. Lots of love for that. If you wouldn't have mentioned no fan, upper lower heat, I would have used the fan mode. Thanks I noticed that ❤🎉

There are many type of oven out there, but for electric oven it is usually better to use fan option for cookies, roasted potatoes and all the food you want to have a crispy crust; but for sponge cakes that should stay soft outside, it is better to not use fan. Hello! The secret for a thick icing is using just few drops of water in a large amount of powdered sugar. You should get a thick paste. If you add too much water, the icing turns out runny and transparent.
