Plenty of bands out there reunite with original or classic members and those guys try to disregard the stuff done without them
In 2011 WIM came to San Antonio at the White Rabbit. There's video of it on youtube. When Doriano came on stage i was SO upset. Tyler AND Michael gone? Fuuuuck no. To see Michael back in woe is absolutely beautiful and kinda funny bc hes singing the same album he told us to go listen to on King of Amarillo. We love you dude glad you're back❤

I 2nd this. Tim added such a great dynamic that made them more interesting instrumentally. Andrew was in the band longer so I see why they had him back.

It's so awesome seeing this band back together. It's even great to see Michael, the Ferris brothers, and Austin working together and being able to patch things up. Even though Michael and the Ferris brothers weren't in the band when Genesi[s] was released, Michael screams way better than Doriano
Woah woah now. Michael has always been dope with his own relatively different style, but Doriano was easily blowing him out of the water. He's not bad, but man Doriano was fitting the sound, technically incredible, and made what he did seem easy. The nostalgia of seeing Woe Is Me on a lineup and it being Michael doing vocals goes pretty far, but I was kinda hoping to see Doriano back.

It's obvious why they went with Hance but the og clean vocalist for WIM was actually Matt Mulkey who Hance is in Young Mountain with, but he didn't record any material with the band but did write 3 songs that ended up on Number[s]
The first album has so many amazing tapping parts and leads that they don’t play live. Kevin and Andrew…..someone actually play it live, it’s important.

Damn this was disappointing - giving any of them individually the benefit of the doubt from being out of practice, but hearing about them totally throwing out the old lead guitar parts like they're not an important part of their original sound, being upset about even mentioning it, calling it an "original lineup" and pretending Tim never existed. Pretty shitty to pretend it's all for the fans and then reply back as if they shouldn't have a say lol Besides that I never thought Hance's style matched Tyler's and if they want to play the old songs at all they really need to have someone that doesn't have to struggle to keep up with the vocal parts (esp. if the lead guitar is gone...what is left, generic metalcore from 2010? Lol) Edit: Hance did better on Delinquents than I expected, trying to give props where due so the valid criticism stands and it's not a needlessly negative comment The pros: Michael obviously doing more vocally than he ever released professionally before, props to growing there. Ben being back/killing it.

That's a stretch. Cool that they're back and all but a reunion show doesn't just delete Issues discography and add musical growth to Woe is Me when there isn't any. Honestly seems more like reverting when they don't play the lead guitar parts at all and are hoping to get hype from reviving some scene beef.

The one thing I hate about this is the fact that they had to bring Tyler into this… like seriously, it’s a reunion and yet you still have to hold your grudges. Then after saying that, “fuck your ego”… could it be the same thing for them? Guess they’ll never learn or prosper
Damn this was disappointing - giving any of them individually the benefit of the doubt from being out of practice, but hearing about them totally throwing out the old lead guitar parts like they're not an important part of their original sound, being upset about even mentioning it, calling it an "original lineup" and pretending Tim never existed. Pretty shitty to pretend it's all for the fans and then reply back as if they shouldn't have a say lol
Besides that I never thought Hance's style matched Tyler's and if they want to play the old songs at all they really need to have someone that doesn't have to struggle to keep up with the vocal parts (esp. if the lead guitar is gone...what is left, generic metalcore from 2010? Lol)
Edit: Hance did better on Delinquents than I expected, trying to give props where due so the valid criticism stands and it's not a needlessly negative comment
The pros: Michael obviously doing more vocally than he ever released professionally before, props to growing there. Ben being back/killing it.
