Ordered this but it didn't work on my dive light. It needs a button top 26650. Ended up trashing the battery by trying to put solder on the positive end, and the melted solder went inside the battery.

Sorry to hear that. If you'd watched my video before ordering, you would have saved yourself a lot of trouble, as I measured (size-weight), tested and reviewed the XTAR 26650 battery thoroughly. It's still a great quality battery.
