Hi! It's up to you as the seller how you'd like to handle returns, exchanges, and refunds, but we recommend you align your policies with ours. Our policies stay the same no matter which platform you're selling on. You can read more about them here help.printify.com/hc/en-us/articles/4483630299025-How-does-Printify-handle-refunds-and-returns
Hi, thanks so much for the video. How do you organize your products in the Square Space store once they are published from Printify? Example organize them in the tops, bags or artwork categories? Thanks so much
When you recommend, "using the average" for flat-rate (international) shipping are tou referring to first item + additional item ÷ 2 = average shipping cost? Or what do you mean by use the average?
Hi there! Since Squarespace doesn’t offer product-specific shipping rates, be aware that the same flat rates you create will apply to all your products. Additionally, it won’t be possible to offer reduced shipping rates for orders containing multiple items. Calculate your rate based on Printify’s shipping rates for a particular country. If the products you’re planning to sell have slightly different shipping rates depending on the country, use the average of those rates, as your flat rate. This article will explain the process in more detail: help.printify.com/hc/en-us/articles/4483623895825-How-do-I-set-up-shipping-with-Squarespace
Yeah, but with flat rate you cant sell T-shirts at 19.99 and shower curtains at 63.99, or anything in between, like hoodies of posters because they all have large gaps in shipping rates... It's not a few dollars. So it is totally unusable..Unfortunetly. On Wix it's the same problem. Rate by product dont work at all btw. Only rate by weight, but imagine doing exactly what you saw in the video for 60 products or more and 5-7 sizes each. A full time job just to set up the shipping rates. and what do you do when the shipping rates go up? Change everything again! I came here to see if squarespace was a better option that Wix, it's eactly the same problem it seems.
@Printify Does this mean I gave to edit the shipping rates that show up in Squarespace once printify is integrated? Can I group stickers and t-shirts, hoodies, and sweatshirts together?
@steevegilmore1400 I was hoping other sites didn't have this issue. I wonder, is it any better on Shopify? It definitely is a lot of work when you offer so many products. It would be great if it could all just be automatically set up once you integrate Printify to your chosen platform
Fyi I think the process of finding the shipping menu in this video is irrelevant as it would seem square space has moved a few things around-consider updating this video. It may also be helpful to show where to find the "printify rates"
Thanks for your feedback! You're correct, this video is due for an update. For anyone else wondering about rates, here is where you can find them: printify.com/shipping-rates/?B_CA&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw34qzBhBmEiwAOUQcF912Jm-Iwttv3zMZZb3LIlT1t6KL-u-Ex7755mH3ir7MLUw6wu1GxxoCvDIQAvD_BwE

@@Printify Hello! Thank you for the link, I read the article. However, I'm sorry but I still don't understand because using weight-based shipping doesn't allow you to set up the shipping price per additional items...
Hi! Are you referring to the weight of the package? If so, the actual product weight doesn’t matter, since we’re just using this to differentiate the product quantity. help.printify.com/hc/en-us/articles/4483623895825-How-do-I-set-up-shipping-with-Squarespace-#h_8e0e5aab9a
Hi there! It looks like this option isn't available yet on Squarespace support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/206540667-Setting-up-shipping-rates However, we can recommend adding in your shipping times either in the product title or description or including the time in your shipping profile name.
holy possessed.....😳 looks like Chuckie or whatve that halloween puppet movie is... why doesn't it just get Put over into Squarespace where it does with ETSY?? if it is all being sold and shipped from Printify and I dont have to do that on Etsy.. why such a pain on Squarespace? I should be able to just pull down the Profile and let it run .. thats what I do in Etsy...
Hey Artie! Yeah, basically the weight-based approach is used to identify the number of same products (ex. all t-shirts from one print provider). You could also assign 0.5 lbs instead of 1 - we just used 1lb for simplicity. Because of Squarespace limitations, we don't recommend choosing this option if you want to sell products that are actually different in weight (ex. t-shirts + canvas). We then suggest using the "free shipping" option. This article also has a description of each approach help.printify.com/hc/en-us/articles/4483623895825-How-do-I-set-up-shipping-with-Squarespace-. Why do we have to either choose wether the price depends on the weight OR the number of items?? WHY NOT BOTH???

Why does Squarespace use “weight” when you’re using “number of items”? I think I got it. You’re calling a pound, one time …. Seems odd.
