    could you take stored food from the fridge and put it directly in the oven? or microwave? or would it need to sit out for a bit?

      yes! can go direct. (our glass is made out of borosilicate, which can handle a large temperature difference)

    needs to specify when sealed lid and pressure steamed vs vented lid and mild steamed.....that would be helpful....

      cook with the knob vented always! push the knob down to store and make it airtight

    Why would I buy this instead of continuing to use my pyrex rounds? They’re borosilicate.

      From a cooking perspective, the difference is in the lid! Pyrex uses plastic lids, which will warp and is not safe for the microwave (especially when cooking for a long time), and they're also not vented.
