I see your logical behind the change. On a previous car I disconnected the front anti roll bar (sway bar) altogether for an Autosolo (slow version of Autocross) and it instantly 3 wheel on every corner 😂. Reading more into it since and 1 negative would be more front roll and thus more camber change. So more grip on the front due to less weight transfer but also less grip due to more positive camber due to more roll. It’s finding the happy medium. You have stiffer suspension so body roll might not be an issue.
if you want your exhaust a little bit louder but still not have drone, drill a couple of 2 inch holes in the bottom of your stock muffler and pull out all the fiberglass packing. Then weld some patches over the holes. I did it to mine and It's loud enough to hear it and sound sporty, but doesn't annoy my wife and doesn't drone on the interstate.
@@collinryser Awesome. I also tried my best to recreate the sound tube on my intake like comes with the John Cooper Works Sound kit. It's a little different setup than you did, but effectively does the same thing by directing the intake sound towards the driver. The sound it addicting, especially around 6k rpms. I'm really enjoying your videos, especially since your choosing to race an R50. It's inspiring me to get mine on the track.
I always enjoy the artistry of your videos and your music selections. It was momentarily startling to see 2 of you on screen! Have a fantastic time at Gridlife!
Looking forward to the next video to see the results.
Gridlife Midwest Fest will be the true test!

@@fabokavrs I did also squeeze some more camber and caster into the setup after installing the sway bar, I’m confident it will be competitive

I may actually do that. Thank you 🤙🏻

Thank you 👏🏻 I knew you’d like that bit
It’s nice to see my hijacked Chipotle sauces are still alive and well in Condiment Corner. Dope video dude! 🤘🏼.
😆 Indeed they are, they’re waiting for you
re. cv boots, clamp in a section of straw from a wd40 can, it allows it to vent, read about it in GRM i think
Good point. I hadn’t thought about pressure trapping. Maybe I’ll give them a good squeeze on the way in and make sure they’re under a bit of a vacuum.
i did same gold tape on my r53, i think it actually kept the heat IN the intake, it gone. meth/h20 injection going on today
Really? So you actually see hotter intake temps with the tape on it?
