    Thank you for this, my husband's friend was dx with this about 4 years ago and had regular blood removal.

    I will be 59 this year & thanks to an autoimmune disease i was diagnosed...
    Really too late ..
    Liver is already damaged, kidneys failing..
    Im having the hardest time understanding i now have Alzheimer's over hh..
    I have the bad gene from both sides...
    Sjogrens is bad enough ,but together 😭😭😭😭.

    I eat steak regularly (few times a week) and am not going to do the bloodletting treatment. I have the heriditary gene. Male. When can I expect to encounter symptoms and will it reduce my life expectancy?? (c282y)
    I cannot find any studies that suggest (or reliably indicate) that life expectancy will be at all reduced in the majority of cases where people have this gene.
