    I completely forgot to say at what temperature you should bake this. Please use 170ºC (340º F)

    What?! I love "windmill cookies!"😊 some use to be Santa Claus shaped. They make great coffee dunkers! I shall have to try and make your recipe. If i can make it then i won't have to buy it. 😊 Thankyou!

    You could roll out the dough on the paper and then easily transfer it to the cookie sheet. 😊

      Smart! Will try that next time.

    🇨🇦 A suggestion. Roll on the parchment paper , transfer to the pan would be easier 😉

    The correct way of mixing is. Put the cold butter with the sugar in the bowl and cream it with the paddle until the mixture gets lighter. Add the speculaas kruiden. Mix. Add the milk. Mix. Add the flour and pinch of salt. (To make self rising flour add 3 teaspoons of baking powder to 350 grams of all purpose flour.) Mix in the flour until it just comes together as a dough. Do not over mix. You do not want to develop gluten. Rest in fridge. Shape and bake.

      Thanks. I was just wondering what the conversion rate was to make the self rising flour, since I have to use gluten free flour

    Que o Senhor vos abençoe ilumine e vos guarde e esteja sempre em vossas companhia!!!!!!!
    Que o Senhor vos cubra de bênçãos e muita saúde e paz e prosperidade🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

    what does the heavy cream on top of the speculaas do?

    • @ToinesKitchen
      @ToinesKitchen  ปีที่แล้ว

      Gives it a bit of a sheen, without the "skin" that an eggwash creates.

    Wat leuk om u terug online te zien. Wel heb ik meteen een vraag. De (elastische) bandjes op de uiteinden van de deegroller waar kan ik die kopen en hoe worden ze genoemd. Want dat is een absoluut geweldig hulpmiddel

    why not just roll it out on the parchment paper and then just place the parchment on the tray with the dough already on it?

    • @ToinesKitchen
      @ToinesKitchen  ปีที่แล้ว

      I always have a hard time rolling things out on parchment paper, but yea, that would be a lot more efficient if you can pull it off.
